It works properly, it doesn't mess up the graphics or sound, But it is a pain! it sort of makes a mess of the wires because they are on each side of the box, even in the front with the buttons. I also had to connect it to my RF modulator because it doesn't hook up to cable, so make sure that your TV takes AV cables in the back! mine does not!But it sure is easier to just press a button ;)
