In the German newspaper "Zeit" there is a controversial discussion whether this book is in large parts an unauthorized translation of P. Gumm's contribution to "Allgemeine Algebra: Mit einem Anhang über universelle Coalgebra" by Thomas Ihringer and H. P. Gumm, ISBN 978-3885381105.
