We had to make minor adjustments to the blades on the fan because it did not exactly fit the hole in the wall that housed the old fan blades, but the fan does work and is still working. I would have liked a more powerful motor to open the door to the outside but it is hard to even find a fan with blades that fit our dimensions. Also the old fan was metal and this one is plastic but that was a good thing because we had to cut the blades down in spots so it would fit.

The motor just burned out -- lasted 6 months.

Also, the unit has no plug. You have to wire your own plug if your fan unit is set-up that way (mine is).

Finally, the large fan blows one way, and the samll fan the other. Of course, I needed the larger fan to push air in the other direction, and had to reuse the old fan fromt he old unit.

I would be happier if it could move a little more air but it installed easily and is getting the job done. Also it is much quieter and balanced than the fan it replaced. It should give reliable service for years.

This motor fit well into the housing for a 1970's vintage Progress PowerVent housing, for which the original motor's bearings were shot. The only modification needed was to shorten the mounting studs slightly with a hacksaw. It is running well, and is fairly quiet.

Motors have only been in service a short time- no long term use to say if they are good.
Came as described fit perfectly. new blades are great so you don't have to guess if you're getting the right size/shape.
Arrived very quickly. If they last it will go to a five star.

My townhouse was built in 1972. This fan fit in the original Air King bath vent. It fit with only minor alteration (cutting excess screws closer to bolt). I am happy I didn't have to replace original fan and was able to keep the brushed alumium vent cover and all steel chassis of the old fan. I was not able to use the original fan blades although they fit, the original fan rotates the other direction.
