Easy to figure out.

You can plug it into the wall or into the car, and you can charge anything with the USB output on the side.

It's great to only need to carry one charger around.

In case you're wondering, here are the 5 ways this thing charges stuff. I bought it to charge a Canon NB-6L camera battery and it works well, as the other reviews have said.

1. You can plug the charger into the wall using the built-in folding plug (nice that it doesn't need a separate AC adapter), and charge your camera battery from that. It will work on European AC voltage too with a simple adapter (not included).

2. You can plug the charger into a computer's USB port (or some other powered USB port) as a power source, and charge your camera battery from that. This is a nifty feature; I haven't seen another camera battery charger that can do this. My previous camera could be charged by plugging it directly into a USB port, which was nice since then I didn't have to carry the camera's AC adapter when I travel. So when I got a Canon camera where you have to take the battery out to charge it, I bought this charger so I could still charge the battery by USB. Of course it turns out it's not such a useful feature since you still have to carry the charger around with you (unlike with my old camera), and when do you really have a USB port as the only available source of power. To take advantage of this feature, along with the charger you also have to carry around the included male-to-male USB cable, which is actually an unusual cable that wouldn't really be used for anything else, since it has full-size connectors on both ends.

3. You can plug the charger into a car cigarette lighter, and charge your camera battery from that. That same USB male-to-male cable makes the connection to an included cigarette lighter USB adapter.

4. When the charger is plugged into the wall, you can charge another USB device from that same USB port that's used for input in #2 and #3.

I was very skeptical about ordering this for my new camera battery but I lost my regular charger and needed something quick and cheap. This was just what I needed and more.
I have a new Sony DSC-W350 that uses a type N battery and the only chargers I could find were 60 bucks! This fits my battery perfectly and would fit any other battery that has the positive and negative contacts on the same side of the battery. The light is nice and bright to tell you when it's charging and when it's done it changes color.
It does heat up just a bit while charging so I'm not sure how long this will last but the rest of it is built well and doesn't feel flimsy at all. The slider is nice and tight and hugs my battery so I'm not worried about it falling out at all.
Overall a great product for the price and I hope it lasts a long time. I've only had it for a month now and used it maybe 4 times.

This is the perfect all-in-one battery charger. I bought this not knowing how good it was, so I'm gonna right a review for others who might be skeptical. I bought this charger mostly for my Kodak Playsport which uses the Kodak KLIC-7004 batteries. I've also tried it with my Sony camera batteries. All you have to do is adjust the connectors on the charger with the + and - contacts on the battery, very simple. It charges the batteries pretty quick too, about 1 - 2 hours or so. You can plug it into the wall or into the car, and you can charge anything with the USB output on the side. It also has a red light when charging the battery and then turns blue when battery is fully charged. I am very happy with this purchase.

Sleek and lightweight, sturdy construction, does a good job at such good price! Way better than those bulky and expensive one at Radio Shack.

This DOES work and looks like it may be quite convenient, however-the directions are unreadable-(light gray fuzzy ink on a white scrap of a paper)
It took several tries to figure out how to put the battery in. (My battery has to be face down, so you can't see the + and - signs)
To save another some time: To change the vertical opening: stretch the far end of the holder by pulling gently and drop the battery so that the positive connector is touching the single pin (in the middle) while the negative connector is placed over the double pin(to the right of the single pin. At least this is my assumption, as there are no markings on the package to tell you! Both pins do slide to ensure a proper fit-but they do feel flimsy. The pins need to be touching the metal places on your battery. You know you have it correctly placed when the light is red when plugged in. (If it starts out as magenta or blue, you haven't done it correctly.)
As it was hard to find the charger I needed, I was happy to find this one. I don't plan on using it for other batteries so I'm less worried about breakage.
