5.0 out of 5 stars Check them out at Lollapalooza, April 22, 2005
By E. A. Montgomery (Florida, USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I saw them open for Keane in Orlando and they were outstanding.

The sound is familiar and fresh - like hearing an old track rerecorded then realizing you don't know it after all. They don't sound anything like Jet, but it's the same feeling I had hearing them. You can give this album to your kids or keep it for yourself, but it needs to be in your music collection.

I hear they've been added to Lollapalooza. If you're going, don't miss the set!

4.0 out of 5 stars Eight Track Heaven, August 11, 2005
By osapientia (Carson, CA) - See all my reviews
When I first heard this on Jonesys Jukebox, I thought I was listening to a long lost track from some obscure nuggets band. Instead, I find it's a retro-band with heaps of soul. Bowie and Mott meet Peter Frampton? Oh, what the hell, just pop it in like it's an old 8 track and be transported into a 70s timewarp.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good stuff, April 22, 2005
By Christopher Meiferdt (Evanston, IL USA) - See all my reviews

I haved not seen them live, but the lead singer from my band (Quiet Kid shameless plug) has and says they have phenomenal energy. Their album is quite good and has a great sound to it, so I imagine them live would be awesome. Very consistant quality, but still varied enough that you dont feel like you're hearing the same song over and over. I'd love to see them live. Pick it up!!
