4.0 out of 5 stars Worth the price, but could use a couple of improvements...
You really can't say much about a product that costs as little as this one. (Shipping is almost as expensive as the product!)

Having said that, the case is a fairly well-made neoprene protector for your Point and Shoot. The zipper appears rugged enough to withstand a lot of use, and the double zipper grips are nice. The D-Ring is better than expected, and...

3.0 out of 5 stars Bad fit for SD1400IS
I bought this case for my SD1400 and it is way to big. I don't recommend it unless you are certain it exactly fits your camera model. Otherwise it will slip around and actually make your camera much larger in your pocket than it actually is - which defeats the purpose of buying a small snapshot camera.

The D-Ring is better than expected, and certainly better than some of the cheap ones you often see coming from China that fall apart after a couple of uses.

The case's appearance is pleasant and unobtrusive and won't bring unwanted attention to your camera.

The reason I give it four stars instead of five is that the case should really have a belt loop and/or a pocket for an additional battery or SD card. Other than those missing components, I'm pretty happy with the case.

This is just what I needed. I bought a new Canon Powershot SD780 and I would always throw it in my bag with me to take around. I was worried about it getting scratched or dented so I started looking for an inexpensive camera case. This fits perfectly, its a softcase, and its not bulky. Definitely great value!!

This is a great case at a great price. I never bought a case for my first Canon Powershoot, I just through in my pants pocket. I figured by time it got all scratched up it would be obsolete. What I liked about the SD camera line is that its so small. If you add a bulky case you lose that. This thing adds almost nothing to the size and weight of the camera.

I loved the belt clip option for this camera - on vacation or hikes, I hated rummaging in my backpack or carrying it around my wrist. With this bag, it's clip-on and go!

This slim camera case fits easily into a shirt pocket. The clip for a belt, however, tore the loop it was anchored on. If someone hadn't noticed this hanging by a thread, the camera would have been lost. Is it the clip's problem or the strap? Buy it, but plan to pocket it.

4.0 out of 5 stars If you're a bit rough, pass on this one...however, March 31, 2010

I bought this item recently for my wife's Canon SD780 which she carries in her purse. For the money, I didn't have real high expectations, but I expected more than I got. It's protective capabilities are marginal in my opinion. It's not for someone who tends to be a bit on the rough side. Case padding is meager and I question whether it would protect the camera if it received a good lick. My wife and I have opted for an older, more substantial case to protect the SD780. We'll use this one to carry an extra battery and charger. I add this comment after returning from a July, 2011 trip to the beach. My wife, after using the camera, placed it back in the case and then, apparently thinking a cloth cooler(with ice water) carried "beach stuff", put the camera in the ice water. To my horror, I discovered her mistake 30 minutes later while loading the car. I removed the camera from the case and was somewhat encouraged to discover the camera seemed to be pretty much dry. I let the camera dry for two days and than, click, it worked. So, add water resistant to the product's attributes.

This was a great product. Great price and very durable, my camera has dropped a few times and the case has protected it very well from scratches in my purse.

It's easy to maneuver the camera from the case - it's a good case, but the loop for a strap to go through is very small - I made it work, but would have liked it bigger.

2.0 out of 5 stars much bigger than expected for Canon SD SD780, October 26, 2010

I bought this case for my Canon SD780, a camera designed to be extremely compact. Unfortunately, the case is MUCH too big, and defeats the purpose of having a tiny camera. I'll probably try to sew it to make it smaller. It's about 1" too long. Also the two zippers feature is annoying. I'd rather it just be one.
