5.0 out of 5 stars Minisuit Stylus
My daughter is handicapped and communicates on keyboards a great deal. She has had trouble with her HTC Evo phone as the letters are too close for her to always hit the proper key. 3.0 out of 5 stars Good for Basics
This Stylus is good for basics. It worked fairly well with it's round rubber tip when pressing "buttons" in the screen. It does not work that good with the screen sliding functionality. It performs poorly at drawing.

My daughter is handicapped and communicates on keyboards a great deal. She has had trouble with her HTC Evo phone as the letters are too close for her to always hit the proper key. (In either direction) On ordering the new Kindle Fire I noticed the stylus as an available accessory for multiple devices. Where has this been! It is exactly what my daughter needed and she loves it. Her texts are so much quicker. It turns out the Kindle Fire has large enough buttons for my hands but my husband wants another stylus for his use. What a perfect accessory for everyone.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice Device, Slightly Less Sensitive Than Equivalent Product, December 2, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Universal Capacitive Stylus Pen for Amazon Kindle Fire & Touch 3G, Apple iPad 2, iPhone 4s, Droid Bionic, Accessory for All TouchScreen Devices (Wireless Phone Accessory)
This "capacitive" stylus works well with the Kindle Fire and Nook Color, but is not quite as sensitive as the AmazonBasics Stylus for Touchscreen Devices. It has a pocket clip, which is a nice feature, but this adds a little weight, and affects how you hold the stylus. If you wish, you can attach the stylus to your touchscreen device by plugging the plastic-tipped lanyard into the earphones outlet.

The barrel of this stylus is 4" long (exclusive of the capacitive tip). The barrel of the AmazonBasics stylus is 4.25" long. Because I have large hands, I prefer the longer barrel--it surprised me how much difference one-quarter of an inch makes. Also, I prefer the clipless barrel. I like to grip the stylus at mid-barrel (not near the tip like a pencil), and the clip gets in the way when I pick the stylus up. The two styluses have equally elegant good looks.

In case you're wondering, as I was, what a "capacitive" stylus is, it is a human interface device (e.g., a mouse) that uses "capacitive sensing" to measure changes of position on a touchscreen. It works just like a human finger on a touchscreen device, and you can often get more accurate navigation using a stylus. Wikipedia has good articles on capacitive sensing and capacitive devices. I rate this stylus at 4 stars ("I like it") rather than 5 stars ("I love it"), because I like the AmazonBasics stylus slightly better.

Stylus arrived yesterday--quick delivery--and has a snappy, sleek look. Case is nice but don't know how long the two will stay together. Looks sturdy enough to last awhile and stylus is a good weight for frequent use. No fingerprints on the screen is a bonus. Also, really good for those who may have big or klutzy fingers. For the price, a good value!

5.0 out of 5 stars stylus was great, November 14, 2011

This works like a finger but has the added advantage of not leaving any fingerprints. It is light weight, has a pocket clip like a pen so it doesn't get lost. If you like to play games for hours, it makes it less fatiguing than pointing with your finger. For the price, it was a great little addition. Didn't think it would add so much to my enjoyment of using my tablet. Works fine on an Ipad2. I havent' gotten my Fire yet. Guessing it will be fine on that.

I must say Minisuit's new stylus pen is great. I use it on my Kobo Touch Reader and with it's soft tip it changes the pages smoothly. No more fingerprints. I also love the clip they put on it as I can now keep it with my e-reader and not worry about losing it.

This stylus has a good look and feel to it, has good weight and works adequately on my touchscreen devices. I just honestly think the sale price is way too high. When I tried to take advantage of their offer to get two pens for the price of one, I was charged for both so I quickly canceled that order. I did receive one of these styluses from another purchase I made for my girlfriend's tablet and I tested it out on my tablet and my phone to see if it was better then the free stylus I had received from another case i had bought for my tablet and it seems to work better then the stylus I had received. Again though, I think it's way too overpriced for what it is. I think this stylus should be more around the $3-4 range. I will be purchasing this stylus when it reaches that range but not a penny more then -$4 shipped-.

Edit: I have found a 3 pack of the same style stylus of -better quality- on a different website. ( I won't say which since I don't want to drive business away from amazon. ) Shipped for less then $5, so just do your research first and you will find that the sale price for this item is quite high considering most of the styli are exactly the same. The only difference is who you're paying.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect !!!!!!, November 15, 2011

Capactive Stylus is working great. Love It !!! CS is the perfect thing for riding in the car or using on an airplane, the benefit of stabalized touch to the screen will stop errors, which means I save time. Hmmm, save time and stop errors? Yep perfect. Sent those tech savy 30 something kids of mine out of the room to keep the stylus to myself for a few minutes. "Heck yea, that stylus is way better than just touching, wonder how it would do with my ninja-angry-majong-list-app thing?" is all I heard them talking about. Thank You.

It would be great if I knew what the string/cord attached is to be used as/for.
Again,
Thank you.

The Minisuit stylus pen is very portable and light weight. This pen was very easy to use and slid across the ipad and kindle screen with no problem. Out of all the stylus pens, this one by far is my favorite. It is also very comfortable to hold in your hand. What a great pen!

This is the third type of stylus pen that I've tried. By far, the roocase brand is far superior. The painted surface on this pen is cheap and gritty feeling. The case it comes in doesn't fit. The soft tip is too shallow and thin. If you are using it at an angle, forget about it. You'll scratch your glass with the metal sides. Normally I don't care about brands and almost always use generic. In this case, I say buy roocase.
