This item fits nicely attached to the windshield next to my rear view mirror on my Honda Element. The suction is strong, and the arm adjustable for many positions. Suction does not stick to my dashboard (smooth plastic, but with a slight curve, so not flat surface), but sticks great to glass windshield. Adjusts to tightly hold Bberry, but can still access keypad and other controls. Good product for the price.

I find that often you get what you pay for so I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this piece. Surprisingly, it works exactly as advertised. Some of the pieces seemed cheap when I opened it but once I put it together and mounted the piece on my Jeep Wrangler's windshield, it hasn't budged. It hasn't fallen off and my BBerry hasn't fallen out ever. I've had it for over a month and have done plenty of driving. Some offroad as well. I even have the hard plastic case on my BB with the knob on the back for the belt clip. I just take the belt clip off and it still fits on the piece.

This car mount works very well, it doesnt fall or slip and holds my Blackberry firmly in place when I use the GPS, especially at night.
No need to pay for more expensive mounts, this one works great.

Cheap and the mechanism that holds the phone broke after not too long. Was barely usable before it was broken.

I purchased two of these, one for my wife and one for me. She put hers together, put it on her windshield and has been using it with no problems for almost 2 years, with multiple phones. Mine, is a different story. The adjustable clamp that holds the phone in place came with a tiny crack in it. I didn't give it much importance as it seemed to hold the phone securely in place. The first issue was that the suction cup had a bad habit of simply popping off the windshield at any given moment, often while driving, but just as frequently while parked. It would happen at least once or twice a week. Sometimes, it wasn't the suction cup but the phone mount itself that would slip off the hooks that were supposed to hold it in place. I don't think my wife's mount ever came off in any way unless she removed it herself. During one of these sudden urges to fall off, the clamp mechanism that held the phone stopped working. It sounded like it was grinding as you tightened it and the release would not loosen unless you manually pried it apart. I tried to fix it but only made it worse. Then I accidentally dropped it in my garage and it completely broke. Oh well, 1 for 2 in baseball is still hitting .500.

I was extremly excited about received this item, because I refused to pay an unbeleived price in the "name brand cell stores", so when I found it at Amazon for less the cost... oh yeah.... this is mine.

When I put it together [one part of the little feet fell off] and tried to place it on my windsheild[ so i can drive without holding my BB] it would not adhere to the window. So I cleaned the window for the second time and tried again, and again it did not hold. So I tried placing it on part of the dash in my Altima... no did not work either. So I used it for about a week holding my BB in the passenger seat so I could see who was calling. It is not in the trunk of my car ready for the goodwill.
Disappointed.

This thing fell apart a few days after purchase. The adjustable arms pop out easily and are pretty flimsy. The product was a bad fit for my Droid X. It was difficult to get the charger cable in place. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

I was all excited to get this, having envisioned how wonderful it would be! Well...I used it a couple of times and have now gotten over it. Problem - plugging the power cord into my phone is impossible when it is in the mount, because my coiled cord isn't long enough to reach my Blackberry when it's secured to the windshield to the left of my steering wheel. Problem - plugging in the audio cord means having the cord running up and over the steering wheel. Not good. Problem - trying to push the buttons while the Blackberry is in the mount is redickulickus. I am way happier having the phone sitting on my console, picking it up whenever I need to access it.

Don't use this any more. Product would not stay suctioned to the window. Constantly fell off when trying to place the phone back in or take it out. The "adjustable grip" after very short use, wouldn't hold anymore and had to be forcefully squeezed to hold the phone in place.

The mount works perfect and has never fallen off the windshield. the fact that it's not a goose-neck type means that I don't have to keep re-adjusting it every time I hit a bump. I have a Motorola backflip and it fits perfectly. excellent product, excellent price.
