I purchased this antenna based on the already low rating due to some mixed reviews saying it works. I received a pack of multiple Universal Generation X Cell phone Antenna's as I read the instructions it says if you have the space to put two than you can. First I tried it with one antenna and NO improvement, then tried it with two still NO improvement and I even had space for three so I added and third, guess what, NO improvment. I am not completely sure if these antenna's are the offical antenna's they seem kind of bootleg and I must admit I have literally seen studies showing they boost signal, but that is if you purchase the offical Universal Generation X Cell phone antenna. As my mother always told me " You get what you pay for!!" The price is not a steal but a true indicator that this deal is TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. I againt these antenna's DO NOT WORK AT ALL!!!!!!!!

They work exactly as described. I didn't have high hopes, but was pleasantly surprised. Before I installed one of these in my phone, I would get no bars about 15% of the time, 1 bar about 70% of the time, and 2 bars 15% of the time (in my room). After installation, my signal strength in my room is now 1 bar about 15% of the time, 2 bars 80% of the time, and 3 bars 5% of the time. That's enough improvement to make calls from my room without worrying about the call dropping. I wasn't expecting a solid 5 bars; just a noticeable signal improvement, and that's what I got. I'm happy with this purchase.

I bought this for an older, "clamshell" type cell phone that didn't get good reception. I applied the metal sticker to the inside as directed, and did seem to find some increase in signal. If you have problems with signals where you live, it's worth a shot...it's not expensive.
