This product is just funny and great for anyone who tends to loose their normal remote control. It was very easy to set-up and the instructions provided do very well at running you through it all. My girlfriend was very happy with it and still is.

This remote is the perfect gag gift or the perfect gift for that person who has everything. It is comically oversized, (which can be useful for those of us who can't seem to find the remote!) Also good for someone with poor vision since the numbers are SO LARGE!
I just want to let everyone in on a little secret, though...
Don't pay over $10 for this item online. I have looked on-line at several different places and it is WAY overpriced! I bought this last year for $10 @ a Rite-Aid store in my town. Dollar General also sold it for $10! I bought one this year, too for the same price. If you can find it in-store, do it, it'll save you ALOT of money.

I bought this because I was sick of losing my remote in the couch, or wherever. I haven't lost my remote ever since. My mother came to visit and her eyes widened when she saw it. So I bought her one, too, and we made the 12 year old granddaughter program it, because 12 year olds can do anything... Anyway, it's a little taller than a novel, and about half as thick. It's universal, so can control a DVD, satellite, and TV all at once.
Also, it's better than the more expensive one at Brookstone, because the up and down, and left and right buttons (the ones you use for a dvd player menu)double as channel up and down and volume up and down buttons... so if you're scrolling through the channels a lot and the buttons start to wear out (as they do on all remotes) you have a whole new set of buttons right there to use as back up.
