This little shredder works great for home shredding. I just set it on top of my trash can and feed away. It'll automatically shut off when it gets too hot to save the motor. No problem. Let it rest after larger jobs.
Why buy a big unit attached to a giant plastic bin that'll get discarded when the thing burns out? This little unit does the trick.

This shredder is great when you are just getting rid of unwanted mail or old bills. It tends to overheat when you use it for a long time. However, it starts up again within a few minutes. It is good enought to shread through ligher mail but envelops with a lot of pages need to be hoped up and shredded up to four pages at a time.

I haven't had any problems in the first month of shredding. A bit slower and louder than my old shredmaster, but 1/8 of the price!! Give it a shot if you're just in it for shredding some bills and junk mail.

Don't bother
I have used this for a couple of months now and it just doesn't work well. You have to feed the paper perfectly straight or it jams. It's a good thing I don't need it very often. Read more

Very disappointing purchase.
It took about 15 minutes before this shredder overheated and than about 20 minutes for it to cool so that it could be used again. Read more

Garbage
Total garbage. Do not buy this product. Amazing how some other reviews liked this product. Paper goes in sideways and clogs. Read more

Piece of Junk
This paper shredder shouldn't be in the market at all. Very easy to jam the paper, and very easy to over heat. When it get jammed, it is very hard to clean.
