In America, we have the UMG series '20th Century Masters.' In Europe, they have the 'Universal Masters Collection.' In 2001, Asia got a collection in the imported series.
How does this collection of Asia measure up? Read on. Positives -You get most of Asia's big hits. 'Heat Of The Moment,' 'Only Time Will Tell,' 'Sole Survivor,' and 'The Smile Has Left Your Eyes' all appear on this collection for your listening pleasure. -UNDERATTED SONGS APPEAR HERE! 'Cutting It Fine,' 'Time Again,' and 'Never In A Million Years' all fit nicely here. -The sound quality is superb. Negatives -Why not include 'Here Comes The Feeling,' 'Days Like These,' or 'Daylight'? Overall, a great buy for a casual Asia fan. If you find it cheap, buy it. But keep in mind it's an import. If you can't find this at a reasonable price, check out '20th Century Masters' or 'The Very Best Of Asia 1982-1990.' Those are great sets. Highly recommended for the new or casual Asia fan. ENJOY!!! |
