Bottom Line is, if you liked any of Frey's Material, this Collection is a great buy - do yourself the favor & get it.

This is a great collection of Glenn Frey's music. My only complaint is that I didn't like the "One You Love" being a live song. Otherwise this a great album for the GF fan.

I bought the CD for Smuggler's Blues and The Heat is On. All the other songs that I can recall hearing weren't all that great, but I got what I was looking for.

This is easily the best Glenn Frey solo collection available, although it includes a live version of "The One You Love" rather than the studio version. It also omits the Top 40 hit "I Found Somebody" and "All Those Lies" which reached #41.

This collection has four very good songs, but not much past that. "The Heat Is On," "You Belong to the City," "The One You Love," and, the best song of the album, "Smuggler's Blues" are all excellent songs which deserve repeated listens. The other 12 or so songs, however, just don't measure up to these four gems. In fact, not only do they not measure up, they're just not very good at all.

I have ordered all of Glenn Frey Cd's which I found listed on Amazon's Site. I received them all and enjoy everyone of them. I couldn't find one record store in Montreal to have any one of his discs. There are enough Eagle discs around but no Glenn Frey. I wonder why! I recomment to anyone who enjoy the Eagles to have copies of Glenn Frey as well. He has some cuts with sax which I enjoy since I am a sax player myself. If I find any DVD concerts with Glenn Frey I would order it. I have seen on You Tube but would prefer an actual copy of one DVD if it exists.

This is the only reason I gave it one star, because Frey is my favorite musician.
