I'm a lifelong heavy lifter and Animal Pak fills every last nutritional hole I can think of, and then some. Aminos. Vitamins and minerals. Antioxidants. Digesive support. Natural energy. Throw in some of their creatine, Pumps, ZMA, and protein and my stack is complete (well, almost... I still replace their Cuts with BELDT: Force Thermogenic since it helps me lean out a lot easier). And I DEFINITELY feel when the Pak isn't there too, because everything suffers. Strength, recovery, stamina, all of it. Especially recovery. Tore my right quad three months back, so I doubled up the Paks (was only using 1 before) and cut my down-time almost in half.

To get maximum results, take a "pak" 2 hours before a work out. I've experimented with the timing, and have discovered that allowing 2 hours minimum will get the job done. Drinking a ton of water is a must. Also, if you aren't Ronnie Coleman or Jay Cutler 1 pak a day is more then enough. The instructs on the back are meant for professional body builders and not the average Joe.

I've been into nutrition supplements since I met Emergen-C and FizzIt/Zip Fizz, and various multi-vitamins. Several members of my family are body builders and health nuts. My sister recommended this product to me.
First off, I got this for $45 at a local GNC store (with membership). I was surprised I could get the same stuff at Amazon, with subscription for $25...
I usually take just one pack a day with a very tall glass of water after breakfast. You definitely will want to take this with food and PLENTY of water. One thing you will notice after taking this, your body will want water and lots of it. Throughout the entire day I feel a noticeable rise in energy as if I had a really dark cup of coffee.
I recommend just one pack per day due to the insane percentage of vitamins and nutrients. One of the responses I get taking this stuff is that your body will pass most of this stuff through your system without absorbing it. This opinion is debatable from my research online. Through my own testing with an increase in Vitamin C intake: I haven't been sick for 6+ months. I used to take sick leave on a monthly basis...
After a week of taking this supplement I noticed my energy levels were much higher and my workout results increased. Running several miles for a quick exercise is now easier than ever. I'm guessing each user's results will differ.
4 stars because of the expense (you do get what you pay for!) and the insane number of big pills you have to swallow. If one has problems with swallowing big pills, get a pill crusher to mix in with a drink. Some of these pills are pretty big. I've never had a problem with swallowing pills so this is not an issue for me.
I recommend taking this early in the day after a big breakfast. Drink plenty of fluids! Also, unless you are working out for hours and hours, fitness trainers I know recommend just 1 pack per day.

pre workout power
I always take it before a workout because it gives me energy and makes me accomplish much more than I can usually do without taking it. It is a great energy burst and very helpful.
