Product Description

TV stays 3 1/4" away from the wall. 30" wide wall plate supports block wall installation or installation on either 8", 12" or 16" wall studs. The 1/8" thick steel wall plate also has 2 pass-through holes so that cables and cords can be fished into the wall interior for a clean installation look. This universal wall mount attaches to any flat screen with a mounting hole pattern up to 28" wide by 19" tall. Safety screws provided to prevent the TV from sliding out from the side. Installation instructions included. Mounting hardware included to fit most TV models.

I was debating for a long time whether it was time to get rid of my old clunky tv stand and mount my 40" LCD on the wall. After searching the internet and the retail stores for a functional mount at a reasonable price, I decided to by this mount.

Installation was much easier than I expected. I am not a handyman of any sort, but the instructions were clear and the installation process was quite simple.

I like the tilting function as I sometimes need to connect different cables to the TV. I heard it is quite difficult to connect cables on straight wallmounts after the TV is mounted with the cables.

Overall, it is good quality, it performs better than expected and it did not cost me a fortune. And for the tv stand, you can purchase it at Goodwill stores.

This mount works great for my 60" Sony LCD however it took several hours to put up. The built in level is not level! After getting it up and secure according to the built in level, it looked level to the eye but once a giant rectangle is mounted to it you could tell it was unlevel by a lot. The TV now needs to come back down and the bracket needs to be re mounted which will require more holes in the wall. Worst of all there is no way to make minor adjustments once it is up.
