Pluses:

The size selected was appropriate for my eyeglass frame.

The degree of coverage of the sides seems adequate as well for protection of the temple area.

Minuses:

The tab at the very front of the shield to protect at the location of the hinges is not angled properly with this model eyeglass and interferes with the intended angle of the temples, holding them too open. Attempts to bend the temples back so eyeglasses would not slip off resulted in breakage of this tab, and exposure to particles entering the eyes from the hinge location. Eventually, I broke off the second tab so that eyeglasses would fit snugly with the temples firm against the head.

The rubber bands used to secure the shield to the temples had to be stretched broadly to be able to slip it under the temple and slide the shield toward the hinges. The shield has either to be twisted or the rubber band strecth a lot to go over the hinge and spring hardware that protrudes from the temple. As a result of this stretching, one rubber band broke and I am being extra careful while sliding these shields in.

Conclusion

All and all, it's a worthwhile replacement for original shields, when the OEM shields are not available. There may be better replacement shields for this model of eyeglasses, but until I know of one, I will buy these again to suit the purpose.
