Universal 6 Black Satellite Speaker Brackets/Mounts for Walls and Ceilings 1UP

I bought the Axis AV black 6-pack and am using the mounts for ~3 lb satellite speakers. The kit comes with: 12 mounting plates, 6 (2.375)" straight extensions, 6 adjustable elbows, 6 adapter posts, allen wrench, plastic anchors, and an assortment of short and long screws (wood and machine) and plastic washers. Kit is made in China.

The instructions show how to connect brackets to threaded mounts, keyholes and two-hole speaker plates. Pieces are of a durable "fiber resin reinforced polymer" and seem to be of suffiently good quality. When screwed in place, the mounts hold stable with only a slight bounce when wiggled. I suspect with speakers upwards of 8 lbs there would be some sag over time, but the mounts are adjustable with set screws.

What would be nice to have with the kit is a short collar piece for close-to-wall mounting. Also, there is no mount hole cover so the screws (and some of the drywall molly) is slightly visible.

I had to hollow out the adapter post for the threaded mount on my speakers which have a slight rim around them. Using a countersink bit and a utility knife this was a fairly easy job. Would have been nice if the adapter had a deeper throat.

The basic drywall mollies provided are a nice gesture but don't work well as they twist in the drywall and don't allow a tight fit. Instead I used "E-Z Ancor tap-n-lock" ([...]) from Ace Hardware which worked very well.

I went out of my way to come back onto Amazon to review these speaker mounts. For the price you can't get a better deal on mounts. They are either wall or ceiling mount and they come with all the hardware to use these with just about every type and brand of speakers. If you're on a budget and who isn't these days then these are perfect for you.

I bought these mounts for my Onkyo system and they work great. I had to buy a little bit longer screws in the size i needed for my speakers but only because of the way my speakers were shaped. Besides that they worked beautifully and i cant wait to show off my new system.

Compare these speaker mounts to all the others out there, it works. Unless your hanging some monster speakers, this system is perfectly fine. The only suggestion, is make sure what type of wall your mounting this to. The Anchor system that was sent with the system did not work with my walls. I have a wall system that is an old type of a paneling system. The anchor system that came with the speakers would have worked with 5/8" sheetrock or thicker. A shorter anchor system would have worked better since that's what I ended up using. Just remember if you have a 7.1 system get the extra two mounts.

I bought these speaker mounts for my sister who is having 7.2 stereo installed. These are great little mounts. You can buy whatever amount that you need. They will mount any number of ways and all of th hardware is there. Quite a bargain if you have priced them at the local stores.
I would do it again.

This product is great, it handles mounting my speakers with no problem. This product came with different mounting option applications which is great to allow mounting for different speaker mounts needed.

I read the reviews about this product before I made my purchase and I have not been disappointed in the strength and the ease of mounting the brackets to the wall. I now have awesome surround sound system that I am very happy with.

They are a good flexible mounting system. Comes with all the screws and bolts you'll need for most any installation. You can remove the longer center section to make it a shorter mount which you have to in order to do vertical wall mount. The longer stalk is good for a ceiling mount.

I'd like to have seen a metal thread insert where the grub screws go to tighten down the assemblies. Get them too tight and you'll strip the plastic. I would also have liked to see grub screws on two sides of the connection points to really lock down the connection.

These worked for the speakers I have which are about 7"-8" and probably 5 pounds or so. I would not use these mounts for much bigger or heavier speakers at least as a ceiling mount for concern of them possibly slipping out. May never happen just something I'd be concerned about.

Good mount package for the price, works for me. A couple of things I'd change in the design though.

These mounts are great. We purchased a LG surround sound system that got great reviews except almost everyone complained that they could not find mounts for the speakers that fit one review even noted after several universal mount kits failed the store told him they were out of idea's. Needless to say these mounts worked, were easy to install and have held up great. I would recommend for anyone.
