5.0 out of 5 stars Bringing Back Memoreis
When I was younger, I owned a copy of this soundtrack (among many others) and played it repeatedly. For stupid reasons that were within my control, I sold it, and do I regret that decision. I've missed listening to the best cover of "Crazy Train" I've ever heard, the up-beat, in-your-face feel of "Crush 'Em" by Megadeth, and the well-arranged mix of rock and electronica...

3.0 out of 5 stars so so soundtrack for a seemingly horrible movie
Ok, I'm gonna be honest. I usually like soundtracks. More specifically, I usually like soundtracks with heavy metal bands on them. So, so far, this album still has 5 stars. The lineup is good, with quality songs by Gwar, Static X, Fear Factory, and some others. Wait, wait a minute, there's a Megadeth song. That just made it lose a star. Four stars now. Wait,...

This may not have been the best film (which is decent in its own right), but the soundtrack is what made it worth watching.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Soundtrack, Heavy Bands & Heavy Sounds, July 14, 1999

Tons of great rock bands. Some old and some new. All the tracks are great. Worth buying for Megadeth alone let alone Anthrax, Ministry, Fear Factory, Static X and Gwar. Great record! I can't wait to see the movie.

5.0 out of 5 stars AWSOME SOUNDTRACK, July 24, 1999

This is a must have CD for any WCW fan, seeing how Megadeath's "Crush 'Em" is on it, and that is Goldberg's new song

Wait, wait, it's that horrible "Crush Em" song too. The title should be "Flush Em", obviously referring with what we should do to Dave Mustaine. Three stars now, partly because WCW is bad and WWF rules. Ok, so just like I said, there still are some killer bands here. What is bad though, is that these aren't new songs. I have just about all of these cd's, and all the ones I have rule, especially Static X and Fear Factory. I like new music on soundtracks, or else, there's nothing to motivate me to buy it. 2 stars now. They did however, include the best Gwar song ever, and a damn fine Static X song, so I'll give a star back. 3 stars, that's what I'm sticking with. Lucky for this soundtrack Goldberg didn't do any music or this would've gotten a much worse score, seeing as how his new entrance music is that horrible Megadeth song you'll find here. I say steer clear of this and go buy the Strangeland soundtrack, or one of the releases by the bands here, and that way, you'll still get their song.

With bands like Gwar, Fear Factory, and Static-X, could you get any better? Well, I supposed you could if you dropped Megadeth and Anthrax! But it is still a very awesome soundtrack. I give it 4 stars!!
