If you're looking for a mix with long transitions between tracks that slowly progress, using about a dozen tracks tops, this aint the mix for you. but if youre looking for a quick fix with relentess beats that circle around banging house with turntablism thrown in the mix, this will suffice. "JTF1" displays his djing ability here with great programming banging out 29 tracks. i myself is not a fan of this style of music, but it is done so well that its hard to hate. also i realized that this mix wont be fully appreciated if youre listening thru headphones, rather needs to be played on a proper system with the volumes turned up ! a really fun ride full of energy. ive seen josh the funky 1 at few parties but this is the first time checking out his compilation and it's a good one. peace.

I just had to write a review for this album, anyone who is into house music or in general any kind of techno based genre must pick up this album. My personal favorite is track 18, most insane dj tricks I've heard in my line as a DJ, and his flow is unstoppable, best house album ever next to Bad Boy Bills Behind the Decks, in fact it could of been better if it had a DVD with it! Everytrack is heartpounding, the man is a genius and mad man behind the decks, BUY THIS ALBUM IF YOU WANT SOME SICK FUNKY ELECTRO DIRTY BANGIN HOUSE MUZIK!!!!!!!!

NEVER HEARD OF THIS ARTIST BEFORE, UNTIL I CAME ACROSS HIS ALBUM RECENTLY IN A MUSIC STORE. IT WAS A FEATURED ALBUM ON THE SHELVES AND THE STICKER ON THE FRONT READING "IF YOU LIKE DJ IRENE, BAD BOY BILL, RICHARD HUMPTY VISSION... YOU'LL LOVE JOSH THE FUNKY 1" REALLY CAUGHT MY ATTENTION BECAUSE I AM A BIG FAN OF ALL THREE DJ'S... SO I FIGURED I'D BUY IT AND TAKE A LISTEN!

BOY, AM I GLAD I PURCHASED THIS CD!! ALL THE WAY THROUGH, VERY CATCHY WELL MIXED TRACKS. JOSH THE FUNKY 1 USES A FEW DIFFERENT SOUNDS THEN BAD BOY BILL, DJ IRENE, ETC. HE BLENDS HOUSE WITH TECHNO, IN SORT OF A GLAMOUROUS WAY. IT'S ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS I LOVE THIS CD. WON'T HEAR ANY OF THOSE TRACKS THAT GET REPEATED OVER AND OVER AGAIN ON EVERY HOUSE DJ'S CD. THE END OF THE ALBUM IS THE BEST SECTION, ESPECIALLY THE LAST 3-4 SONGS. EVERY SONG FLOWS TOGETHER BEAUTIFULLY AND WILL LEAVE YOU WANTING TO HEAR THEM OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

GO OUT AND GET THIS CD BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
