5.0 out of 5 stars Cool costume.
This is a great costume that can be worn right out of the box. I did launder it first though because it was wrinkly and I'm kinda crazy about wrinkles.
This costume has a hood, shirt, pants and two sashes. The pants have an elastic waist that is comfortable for kids to wear for extended periods of time. Easy on and off. Shirt has a tie at the neck.

3.0 out of 5 stars So-So Mummy Costmue
We received the costume but did not try on prior to Halloween. Fit was okay, I'd probably go for a larger size if you're unsure. The fabric was sort of a cheap muslin, but since the child typically only wears once, that was okay. I thought there was a mask included, but there isn't, you have to paint their face. My son didn't like the hood because the fabric stayed in...

My daughter wore it to a costume contest where there were about 100 kids entered and she won for the scariest.
I even heard a comment about how "someone spent a lot of time on that (costume). I took the credit for it.
With a little face paint, you too can have the scariest mummy on the block.

This costume is made out of a heavy cotton material. It is not soft, and the color is a little yellowish (gives it an aged look). My son has worn this costume for three consecutive Halloweens (he's 8 now, and I had to buy the 10-12 size this year), so it does run a little small. Every year kids and adults marvel at this costume. It looks homemade. I (try to) copy the face painting of the child pictured, and when you add the hood, it's really an eerie look. I've even had moms ask to take a picture of the costume because it's so cool. Plus, in three years, I've never seen any other child with this costume. If your child wants a classic scary Halloween costume, look no further.

So, we got one use out of it this past Halloween, and the pants ripped in half while trick-or-treating. Luckily my 9 year old was wearing leggins underneath or we would have had major trouble. The material is just really thin and the sewing at the seam starte the tear that just shot down the leg. She is a size 10 and the entire size large costume was quite snug. I usually expect to be able to use the costume for another kid the next year, but this was a one-time-use deal that cost more than I would have liked to pay.

High quality, easy to modify. Glad my child is thin, would have had trouble fitting if he had been husky, the arms and legs are tight.
