(Jan 2010) Got this bag for my kids 2 DSi's. It will fit both, along with 20 games, but it is not very roomy. If you have a silicone cover on the DSi, it does not slip in & out of the bag very easily as the bag is felt lined and the compartment for the DSi is fairly snug. You definitely couldn't fit a DS in here with the Nerf Armor case on it. While I complain it is not very roomy, it is not meant to tote around 2 DSi's and the accessories that go along with both of them. If you wanted to use this for just 1 DS & accessories, it would be perfect because everything that goes along with it isn't very large anyways.
It has an adjustable strap that can fit a child nicely, yet adjust to fit mom & dad too. The strap attaches with a spinning hook, which I find great because it doesn't get all twisted. You can even remove the strap and use the handle on top of the bag if you wanted to. Lots of room for extra stylus (slides into an elastic strap to hold in place). Overall, a great little bag that doesn't take up too much room and keeps the DSi's safe when not being played...I wouldn't worry about the DS too much if they were inside and the bag was dropped.

(Feb 2010) I actually can fit my sons DSi in the bag when it has the Nerf Armor foam case on it. It is very snug, but it does fit!! I have 2 kids, which means 2 DSi's...so I'm ordering another Nerf case and I think this bag will hold both of them with the cases on. I'll update then and also add a picture showing them both in there.

(Aug 2010) Well, we have had this bag for almost 8 months and it is still the perfect bag for my kids 2 DSi's. I never got around to ordering another Nerf Armor case as I stated above, but I don't doubt it would fit both of them if needed to. With the DSi's in it, this bag has been dropped, had drinks spilled on it, been in the middle of tug-o-war matches, and still looks fairly new. I only wish it could hold more games as time goes on and their game collection grows.

(Dec 2010) About a year later, our DS family has grown to now include a DSi XL. This bag WILL fit the XL, could even fit 2 XL's snugly beside eachother. The newest additon, the XL, is mine (yes, parents have toys too!)...I still keep my kids in the pockets and just stick mine in the front of the pockets. It floats around loosely, but everything is felt lined so it is perfectly safe. So the ultimate DS bag has just become the super ultimate bag that can transport 2 DSi's AND a DSi XL safely!! Yay!

(Dec 2011) Almost two years later, and this little bag is still the best option for our families "gaming" needs. We have 3 kids, and between them, there are 2 DSi's, a DSi XL, 2 iPod Touches, and as of a few weeks ago, my Kindle Fire...all of which WILL fit in this bag! They don't all have their own little compartments, but they fit and stay fairly organized, and easy to access...but most importantly...safe!! It still looks brand new despite a few of the threads unravelling from the embroidered "2 squares" logo on the front flap...and that is barely noticable. Every once in awhile, when it's smell becomes unbearable from all the spills and other "unknown" icky stains, I toss this bag (haha, empty, of course) into our front loading washer and wash it. Comes out brand new and smelling awesome!

Awesome case! Holds everything from multiple DS units, the charger, your stylus whether it's small or the new fountain pen-like stylus for the DSi XL (there are 4 spots for the small stylus and 2 for the XL stylus), to 20 game cartridges (slots made for the small ones, not the larger GBA ones, though you can definitely tuck some GBA games somewhere in this bag like the zippered compartment which my kids are currently using to hold their chargers).
Be VERY carful when you buy this tranporter because it has undergone a recent transformation. Notice the different pictures of these game bags when you search for them on Amazon. See the hang-tag in the photo of this hot pink one? Well, in the bottom-left, you can barely see it but there are 3 green check marks. One each for DS lite, DSi and DSi XL. Power A is using the same name but there are actually two models. The first one comes with a cardboard sleeve around the bag and the area that holds 2 DS units has a separator that is sewn in. This newer bag with the hang-tag on it comes with a velcro separator so the XL can be accomodated. We almost purchased the other one which would have not fit the XL. Both are on store shelves so unzip it and look inside if you own an XL because you will need the velcro separator model to be able to resize the area accordingly, otherwise it won't fit right. Whether velcro or sewn separator, DS lite and the regualar DSi will fit fine. But be very aware if this bag is for the XL.
I believe both models come in Pink, Blue and Black but having viewed the ones with the sewn in console area, I noticed it's a much lighter pink and the one considered black is a combo of both dark gray and black (meaning XL users need to spot hot pink, all black and blue). Crazy I know, but spotting the different colors may help you choose correctly.
It also comes with a removable, adjustable shoulder strap.
Hope this helps because when buying on the web, you may not get all the tiny details and since both models are called Universal Transporters, one can buy the wrong one and who feels like returning and waiting for the right one? I nearly got the wrong bag model twice.

I purchased this hot pink model (daughter, 10) and the solid black (son, 7). My kids love the bag's roominess while not being too large to carry around. My daughter loves the shoulder strap, carries it cross-wise across her body like a purse, and uses the 're-sized' space beside her XL for her cell phone. My boy does not like the shoulder strap and prefers using the short handle on top. The bag is roughly 9" x 8.5".

This is my second bag the first was the g-pak i got it somewhere else but the bag was way to small. The universal transporter is the perfect size. Only negitive thing i can say is my ds lite does have the nerf case on it and it wont fit in the little game pocket where it sould go but thats no problem at all i put it right in the front and use the pockets to store other items. The bag is made very well and will hold two games pure pocket not just one game and it has a zipper mess pocket to store yout headphones and cleaning cloth, has a place for your xtra stylus and two places to put the big stylus. I cant say enough good things about this bag. I have the blue one and the pink one is getting ready to ship. If ones not in stock at the time you can go ahead and order and they will ship when its in stock and doesnot take a long time to get. The pink one is very hard to find in stock. If you have a nerf case this will work just fine if you just use the front pocket and it sits right there longways or sideways and still zips up without any trouble! After all when you take the nerf case off you then can store two game systems but if your kids are small you will want to leave the nerf case on for awhile. Great bag and im super happy!!
