Great Stuff! Until I tried this product many years ago, I had a problem with slight anemia. Not a problem but I wanted to donate blood and their requirements are more stringent. Since using this product, the anemia has never returned. Much better than iron pills! Absolutely no side effects.

The smell assaults you when you open the bottle, so I quickly grab out 4 or 5 and put the lid back on. A couple of tablets in the hand don't smell too bad. The tablets are big, but not nearly as big as the Optimum Nutrition Amino Acids tablets that I can barely get down. I guess the liver tablets are one of the secrets the old time body builders used to make good progress, and I know I've been making progress during the time I've been using them. I take my 4 or 5 as a mid-morning and/or mid-afternoon snack to keep the protein synthesis going. And if I'm having trouble breaking away from work for a meal, I might take more. The price per gram of protein makes them a good deal and a good way to bring up the protein intake. It also encourages me to drink more water. I had a couple of mild 'liver burps' the first time or two I took them, but haven't noticed any since. I think I'm going to keep these in the routine. I've tried a lot of different supplements, but find that very few are worth the cost. I like these along with Leucine powder and creatine, and of course protein powder.

These pills stink and yes they're rather large, but I wasn't going for taste or smell when I ordered them. They're fabulous in that they reduce muscle tension

(I run alot) and they can also stand as a substitute when I don't have enough time to catch a meal. I absolutely love 'em.

This product contains soy, a real surprise to me, and unfortunately I'm stuck with a huge bottle of this with no recourse to return it.

If you avoid soy like so many do, you'll want to find a grass-fed, pastured farm and get some actual liver instead. Once cooked in a little clarified butter, it's not bad, and can be quite juicy (unlike the dry stuff I remember from childhood). If you don't care for the taste, you can always pop it in a food processor and sneak it into green smoothies and the other meat on taco or spaghetti night. :)

Max Gerson once used raw liver to treat cancer patients with outstanding success, but you'd never want CAFO livers, so again, find a quality farm who feeds animals the way they were meant to be fed (GRASS), and buy there. Yes, it costs a bit extra, but I'd rather reward the farmers for doing things the right way than pay the hospital later.

I have always used this product but since moving into a more rural area, Amazon is my sole source. You cannot say enough positive things about the product. Not just for serious weight trainers but for anyone looking for improved energy. The tablets are easily swallowed but could be crushed to a powder if you prefer.

This is a good source of protein, and the smell isn't nearly as bad as some people say. If you stick your nose in the jar of 500 pills then yes it smells terrible but a few in your hand isn't even noticable. One thing I was affraid of was the pills TASTING like liver when I put it in my mouth, but that is not the case at all.

Love these little tablets. Old school supplement that works. Through amazon is the cheapest I have been able to find on the net. The lable may look odd but you receive the up to date labeled container. Great Stuff!

My energy level is through the roof! Excellent product! I've reduced my food intake, thereby losing weight! I'm so happy with this stuff, I put it on an automatic ship order.

Con: Huge pills, tough to swallow, but that's it.

Great product. Can tell a difference in my Strength and my energy level! I love the added protein that it adds to my diet. The only down side is that you get cotton mouth when you take to many in a day. But not to bad makes you drink a lot of water which is good for you.

Delivered in about 7 days after I ordered. Good product. I take 2-3 tablets every two hours to sustain the supply of protein. Seems to work for me
