4.0 out of 5 stars Wow :)
I honestly only got this figure for the BAF piece of Bane. But within some comics I've read creeper has popped up. I wasn't too excited about this figure until i actually had it in my hands and saw it with my own eyes. The paint applications are very bright and exciting and though i didnt know much about the creeper i like the figure because of shear detail, articulation,...

Jack Ryder is the Creeper. His origins of old are that a combination of a crazy Halloween costume and some chemicals and devices change him to the Creeper (which he can do at will). Jack Ryder is the Creeper. His origins of old are that a combination of a crazy Halloween costume and some chemicals and devices change him to the Creeper (which he can do at will). Newer origins include that the Creeper is a demon of sorts. He has fast healing, super strength, stamina, agility, a painful laugh and a crazy personality in Creeper form. Not exactly Gotham's premier super hero (there's another you may have heard of) but he's there.

While the sculpting is good the character design leaves a lot to be desired (not Mattel's fault but there it is). He's a naked dude with gloves, boots, under wear and a really hairy back. The crazy face, maniacal grin and clawed hands look fine as do the detail on the teeth and fur. He's on the thin muscular body. The hair is finely detailed as well.

However, color wise he's sickly yellow with green hair and briefs, red boots and gloves with black trim and red back fur. It's an eclectic design to be sure but wow is it ugly.

He actually has one of the better neck joints on this line I've seen in a while with ball joint that also allows some forward and back movement. His arms have ball and pin shoulders / biceps, double pin elbows and pin/ball wrists. His waist is a cut joint and he has an ab crunch. From the waist down he has universal hip joints, cut thighs, double pin knees and pin ankles. He's no slouch in the articulation department.

He has his piece of collect and connect figure Bane and nothing else.

Technically I can't fault him in sculpt or articulation. But my goodness that color scheme and overall look is ugly. That may be the point with this character and if you are a fan I'm sure your score will be higher but for me he's 3 ½ and rounding down to 3.

Bane is the tactical genius and venom user who broke Batman's back. As simplistic as his design is they somehow managed to make this a great figure. The sculpt is amazing with little details like the eyelets, stitching and bottoms on his boots, and like the zipper on his mask all hiding in there. His massive chest and arms look great as does the skin tone used. And speaking of the paint it's simple yet effective as well. The boots are a cool high gloss, the gloves more detailed than I thought they'd be and the mask looks perfect. Even his venom dispenser and tubing looks great. He's also as articulated as the smaller figures although some of the joints may differ. Bane is not as hulking as some recent C and C's but still huge - about 8 inches - in comparison to the regular figures. He's a surprising 5 star figure for me.

Get the figure even if you don't know who he is because this figure will give you a pleasant surprise.

the Creeper is a durable DC collectors item that has already seen plenty of action ans has held up to all kinds of abuse,as he is a bad guy.
