This game is definitely worth buying. My boys absolutely love it! My four-year-old can now add and subtract without help, and he asks to play this game every day. My six-year-old can now add and subtract quickly without counting on his fingers. I recommend this to any parent of children ages four to seven.

My girls love this, it's never about filling the cauldron, but all about doing the math. And we just pop the cards on our foreheads to get the answers, which is even more fun!

I really like this game. I agree that the numbers are hard for little fingers, but I just rubbed the answers several times while watching TV after my kids went to bed. After several uses the answers now rub off easily. This rubbing is critical for strengthening the kids' fine motor skills muscles, so it is an excellent exercise for that. My boys 4, and 6 love creating their potions, and I love they are learning math at the same time. As for the durability, the cards are very thick, so I love that, but be careful not to scratch the black ghosts with your fingernail or anything else sharp.
