5.0 out of 5 stars Good memories...
As a family, we have spent may hours together playing this game. Many of the questions are answerable by choosing the most likely sounding answer---a welcome relief for younger children. The questions are not so difficult as to frusatrate children (or adults).

2.0 out of 5 stars Incorrect Knowledge
While playing this game for the first time, and using less than one quarter of the supplied cards, our family found four cards with incorrect answers. For example, one card claimed that Grand Prix races take place not on the road but on an oval track. Another claimed that radar, not sonar, uses sound waves to detect objects. While playing this game for the first time, and using less than one quarter of the supplied cards, our family found four cards with incorrect answers. For example, one card claimed that Grand Prix races take place not on the road but on an oval track. Another claimed that radar, not sonar, uses sound waves to detect objects. Another spelled the Ebola virus as "E boli". The fourth card had an answer that was correct, but was not the only correct answer, as was claimed. The makers of this game would do well to hire a fact checker.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not very pleased with this product, February 25, 2000

There were good and bad things about this product. I liked that it had easier questions for children, but the questions were a big problem. They asked like 3 questions on blue whales, and missed many other important areas of science and nature. I found the adult questions to be laughably easy (there were a lot of true/false questions), or so obscure or unclear that they were not "fair" questions. I think that a game like trivial pursuit while it does not offer easier questions in the standard set for children, has much better thought out questions that are consistent and cover a broad range of topics!

5.0 out of 5 stars knowledge is good, but..., January 3, 2000

My 9-year old daughter loves the game. Personally I find in infintely better than the awful trivial pursuit but I still think it could be better: the science questions are generally too easy (my kids get the adult questions with ease) and they are sometimes flawed or unclear. There is a fair bit of content that is strongly biased to US culture, especially the sports stuff, and I find it the least appealing part of the game. The board itself could be better but it's fairly irrelevant since it just provides an excuse to ask the questions. Overall the concept is good and it's one of the better games of its type, but the questions could be better. It clearly has educational value and little or no downside.

This has got to be the worst game I have ever purchased. I was not impressed with suicide questions and questions about hard rock bands etc., my children had not even a clue who these people were. I thought I would like the fact that their were 2 sets of questions. Family Trivial Pursuit would be a better choice.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great family game, January 13, 2007

This game is so much like "Trivial Pursuit", you could use the questions and categories from any of those editions to handicap the game even further. I played with two young adults (under 18) and some of the questions for younger players were completely unknown to them.
The best part is that you can only answer one question a turn (right or wrong) so a "Ken Jennings" can't win the game on the first roll of the dice.
There aren't enough questions supplied with the game, but as I noted above, any multi-category trivia game questions can be used to keep the game interesting. Overall, an excellent purchase for families that enjoy an evening of trivia.

The game is good but the directions are not. We sat down to play the game but it took us a long time to understand the rules.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun for the whole Family!, November 11, 2008
Our family just loves this game! It's basically Trivial Pursuit, but unlike Trivial Pursuit, anyone of any age (over 10) can play it. Since the questions are broken down into two age levels, parents and children can compete on an even playing field.

Like the T.V. game show Jeopardy, the questions usually offer hints in them. If you know the answer to the hint, you can make an educated guess to answer the "Knowledge" question. You learn from this game, while having a blast!

We gave this game to our son for Christmas last year, and have enjoyed it many times since.

A great game for family game night!

4.0 out of 5 stars Game of Knowledge Review, January 6, 2008

Good game. Nice and pretty current. As with any trivia or general knowledge game, you usually either know the question or you don't. There's also the possibility of the "educated guess" approach or process of elimination. Nice looking game and nicely laid out. A little different with the collecting of rings on your piece that moves around the board. Overall, a good game.

This is a terrific game that preteens and adults can play together! Adult and child questions make it fun for the whole family.

Soooo much better than junky board games highlighting the latest character or movie hype! This is timeless!
