I bought this game because my 3 1/2 year old craves knowledge and loves games. While the first level is geared for Grade 1, she has been able to answer 85% of all the questions without difficulty. I have played at grade 6 and found myself forgetting some of the answers. This game is just fantastic for aged 3-100 I would say. The game is even larger than I thought it would be. Included are a large spinner with all of the categories including Science, Math, Arts, Reading & The World. There is even a space of choose your category which is the most fun. I don't think anyone would be bored playing this game.

Certainly the best thing for breaks from school & summer time to keep young minds sharp!

Impressed by many positive reviews, we asked for and received this for Christmas for our precious kindergartner to play with friends, older cousins, and younger siblings (when they're ready). We're not entirely disappointed, but it didn't really live up to expectations. It should be noted, though, that we've only played with two precocious kindergartners so far, though.

The kindergartners had few problems reading the questions to each other, but some of the punctuation tripped them up (such as colons). After a few awkward turns, the decision was made to have all questions read by an adult.

The first grade questions weren't too hard for the kindergartners. However, they struggled with the arts questions, because the majority seem to focus on nursery rhymes, most of which our son and nephew apparently didn't know. That our son struggled with them was not surprising, considering we preferred rhymes by Boynton, Seuss, and Silverstein, rather than those associated with Mother Goose. Surely there are better questions about the arts than what Jack and Jill were fetching when they went up a hill. Other than the arts, the questions seemed reasonable, though.

Other disappointments were related to gameplay. In no particular order:

* The answers aren't printed upside-down on the card backs (like in Trivial Pursuit). Suffice to say that getting young kids to hide answers from each other is a difficult task.

* Players collect three tokens for each subject before turning them in for the letters associated with them. This much is clear. However, it's not clear what to do once a subject letter has been acquired. What's the point of continuing to answer questions for that subject?

We play this game during home-school lessons and it's great for both my 3rd and 7th grader. If they are not sure of an answer to a particular question they write the question in their notebook to research it at a later time. They have learned quite a bit while playing this game, and it is a lot of fun as well.

My 7 year old loves to play this game. And it's entertaining enough that I don't find it boring. That being said, be advised that the packaging is deceptive. There are 5 sets of cards in all, but you only find 4 when you open the box. It seems as though the World pack is missing. It's not. Just mixed in with the other sets. They really need to do a better job of explaining this. I sent the game back once for a replacement. And that is why they only get 4 stars. While the game is really fun, customer service is not so hot. I'm talking game manufacturer, not Amazon. There is no contact info anywhere on or in the box. I googled them and sent an email but never received a reply. Had I not googled the problem and found one review that told me about the packaging snafu, I would have sent it back again.

The game will provide fun for your family, questions come by age group, so younger children can play with older children.
