5.0 out of 5 stars A great game for 2.5 yr olds January 22, 2009

Durability: 4.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I have been looking for a game (board game to be exact) that I could play with my 2 1/2 yr old AND my 5 yr old. So many of the games my 5 yr old can play are just too advanced for my daughter. When I saw this game I took a chance .. esp since she LOVES all of Eric Carle's book. We have played this game almost daily since we received it at Christmas. My 2 1/2 yr old LOVES it. We don't follow the exact rules with her. I put the tiles into 2 piles (one for her / one for me). We each take a turn finding the animal on the tile and placing it on the matching piece on the board. This is something my daughter can do and really enjoys it. We talk about the different colors of the animals and the different sounds they make as we play.

I wanted to share this information as I know so many people have younger children who want to play games just like their older siblings. Here is a game that you can all play together and have fun.

I'll def start buying this game as a bday present for our 2 yr old friends. It's so fun to see them play it. Enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great preschool game April 10, 2007
By Amy
I have a 4 year old with developmental delays and we got her this game to work on her matching skills. It's still a little bit beyond her abilities, but with a little help she did well. My 22 month old was also able to get involved with some help. This game is for ages 3 to 7. I think a 7 year old would be bored with it, but it's great for younger kids. The game goes quickly, which is perfect for short attention spans.

4.0 out of 5 stars Easy for little ones to play April 14, 2008
Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
We bought this game for our son's 4th birthday. It's a very easy game to play so he caught on very quickly. However, it's just like any other memory type game and therefore, for adults, it can tend to get boring. The kids like it though.

They play this game all the time, often without needing my help. It is simple enough for them to play on their own, and it also encourages them to cooperate. Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars not that great
this game is not that great - a great concept and wonderful artwork, but there are too many cards and not enough room on the board. not our favorite.
