4.0 out of 5 stars Great fro the Lego Lover
We bought this game to go with a personal DVD player for our son who is a Lego maniac! We have enjoyed playing the game and the variety of activities on it.

I bought this game on clearance for my four-year-old. Since he got it a few days ago, we've played it twice. It's a little repetitive, with motion on the track involving one of a small number of tasks accomplished with the DVD remote. Moving forward involves betting on a car race with which you have no interaction, knocking down a castle which involves one button press, solving a simple maze, or answering a trivia question involving relative sizes or volumes of objects (this is the educational bit). The winner of the game activates a short (1-2 minute?) video segment involving the manufacture of lego or some element of legolands (so far we've seen two - I don't know how many there are). My little boy seems to enjoy most of these elements - particularly knocking down the castle and betting on the race, although in general he enjoys the novelty of DVD games.

This game is probably suitable for 4-6 years old, but much past the age where they'll play candyland, they're probably too old.

1.0 out of 5 stars worst toy ever; waste of $$$, January 27, 2011

Don't bother with this DVD game. Kids old enough to enjoy Legos aren't old enough to use this game, but kids old enough to use the game will think it boring and juvenile. Don't waste your money.

Two stars may be pushing it for this game. I only went with two because my kids (ages 4 and 6) like the game. The game play is very limited and the same questions cycle around rather quickly. There is a maze game that is almost impossible to solve in the allotted time, they ask "which would take more Lego bricks" questions (hard for a younger child to conceptualize these questions) and there is a silly race game where you pick which color car you hope wins and then they show you a race. There are other games, but not worth mentioning in this review. The only good thing is that I picked this game up at TJ Maxx for [...] and did not buy it for [...] (the price they were selling it for at Legoland). Lego missed the mark with this game.
