I have been following Dr. Perricone's work for a few years now. I work in Geriactrics in Nursing. I found it interesting when I heard him speak of supplements we are using experimentally at this time. I read his first two published books and decided to try out the diet alone with my family. After the 3 day diet was complete I noted that all of the changes he stated would occur did occur. His menu plan I purchased next and have been experimenting with it for my children ever since. We are not perfect followers of his diet but for the most part we do.
We have just started using a few of his supplements recommended and I have been very pleased with the results. I decided to buy his University Lecture Series because I am ready to share his information with others now. This is a great buy. This covers his first two lectures shown on PBS as well as a question and answer program with a general public audiance. I would recommend listening to this Doctor and at least trying his ideas out. One personal note: Dr. Perricone has been receiving a lot of heat for not following the usual methods of practice. He is an original thinker and although you can not refute his medicine practice some people are frankly offended that he does not play the politically correct ways to win over his comrades. That is unfortunate. History has proven many original thinkers get persecuted in there life time.
