A follow-up game to the popular movie of the same name, University Game Madagascar Escape 2 Africa Board Game offers young kids a way to play with their favorite movie characters.

Players each selection a character from the movie. Spins are made to move 1 to 4 spaces. The board is lined with most of the movie characters and players move their chosen piece the spun number. Once players reach their space, they must attempted to find the character from 15 cards that were turned face down before the start of the game. If they choose the right card, they spin again and repeat. If they don't find the character, their turn is over. As each player makes it to the end, whoever has the most cards is the winner.

While it offers a great way to practice memory skills, my 4 year old son quickly become bored and just wants to start turning cards over. And while that is most definitely age, at the same time I cannot see an older child enjoying the otherwise simple game.

I would recommend purchasing this product only if your child is a Madagascar superfan and would be thrilled with simply having the movie name attached to it; not for the actual quality.
