I have suffered from severe rosacea throughout my teen years and adulthood. (I'm 32) I have tried everything from antibiotics, perscription topical creams, to natural remedies. I have even tried Proativ brand products. Either these products would not work, or they burned my sensitive skin. I gave up on ever finding a sucessful treatment and figured that I was destined to have bad skin for the rest of my life. For people who don't have roscea acne, they don't understand that it isn't just a cosmetic problem. It can actually be physically PAINFUL! Lesions from this condition (especially if severe) not only affect a sufferer's self esteem but can be very sore as well.

On a whim, I decided to give AcneFree Redness relief a try, not expecting any miracles. I saw improvement within a week of using this product. My skin felt smoother, there was less pain. After a month of using AcneFree I had no lesions on my skin at all! The pain was gone completely, the redness was gone, and friends were complimenting my clear skin. I have been using this product continuously for 3 years now, and have clear, smooth and healthy skin because of it.

This product used to be widely available at any retail store, but now it's much harder to find. For some unknown reason, many retail stores that used to carry it (Target, Walmart, CVS) no longer do. Amazon is the only place that I can purchase this. Hopefully it will not disappear all together because I literally rely on this product to give me a normal, pain-free life.

Like millions of other people, I've suffered from Rosacea for years. I don't know why or how it started, but I was powerless against it. I had inflammation on my cheeks and forehead and the occasional rosacea acne. I've been to the dermatologist, but I wasn't successful with any of their suggestions. IMO, dermatologists just want to peddle creams and meds and don't really care about treating the cause of our problem. So, I saw this stuff at the drug store and decided to give it a try...

Within a couple of days (literally less than a week), my symptoms were 90% better! I truly couldn't believe it, but I was happy enough not to question it. It's been 9 months since that day, and I'm still using the original kit that I bought back then. My skin looks like it did years ago before any redness crept in. I actually don't use the cleanser much (I use regular soap most days), and I use the Toner and Moisturizer almost every morning. I don't have to re-treat at night, although I'm sure that your mileage may vary.

I recently saw this on clearance and bought their remaining stock (4 more kits). I hope this product will be around for years to come.

This is the only thing that works with my skin. I've tried the normal AnceFree line with no such luck, but this one is a friggen miracle! Whenever I stop using it and try another product, I break out terribly and it's horrible. Then I switch back and all is well again. And I have sensitive skin, so... suck for me. Yes, my skin is a little dry while using it, but that's a very small price to pay. I just use their lotion at night, and in the morning I use a moisturizing lotion and it's all good. They better not stop selling this, or I'm screwed!

I don't know for sure if I have rosacea, but I had great skin until I was about 22. My skin has become very red and irritated in the last few years. I was also getting a lot of breakouts all over my face. I have had problems with cystic acne recently. I had zits that would hide under the skin for months and resurface every once in a while. Nothing I tried helped. I tried all sorts of cleansers and spot treatments. I saw this stuff while searching around on Amazon, and I decided to try it. I have mixed feelings about it.

I cannot use all three products at the same time because my face will get so dry that it will peel, and my skin is generally pretty oily. I've stopped using the toner and lotion. I absolutely love the cleanser. Since I've started using the cleanser, my face has really cleared up. I get a couple zits every once in a while on my chin, and those dry up pretty quickly with the cleanser. I haven't seen much of an improvement with the redness, but the improvement in the clarity of my skin is amazing. I don't feel like I have to wear makeup any more. I will try to get the cleanser directly from University Medical, or I might try to find another sulphur based cleanser since the price of this stuff is a little steep.

I have read some complaints about the smell of the cleanser. It doesn't bother me at all. No one has ever told me I smell like sulphur. It is a really light sulphur smell, but then again, I kind of like the smell of sulphur. If you are very sensitive to the smell, this stuff will probably drive you nuts.

Although I have never written a review before I had to write about this stuff! Acne Free has come up with an amazingly gentle but powerful product for adult acne. It is soothing to my sensitive, red skin (I am 40-something and have tried *every* product out there!)It is superior to it's more pricier competitor and does not leave my skin dry or over-stripped. The only problem I have with this is finding it in stock!

I have struggled with Rosacea for close to 15 years. I have went to 4 different dermatologist, tried many different prescription meds, tried the natural stuff with no help. Finally, AcneFree Redness Relief System has healed my Rosacea. I can work out in the sun, drink red wine and have no swelling or breakouts. I use the AcneFree Redness Relief system each night. It is a miracle for me! SOme complain about the sulfur smell, but it does not bother me since it has cleared up my Rosacea. Now the problem. University Medical is thinking of discontinuing the product due to low sales. Hey everyone. You will not find a better product and it is a fraction of the cost of the prescription drugs. Call University Medical and ask for this product!!!! It cures Rosacea!!!!!!!!!!

It doesn't matter who makes it....sulfur is the best treatment for flaky skin which causes redness. My dermatologist sent me to a compounding pharmacy for a special creme which contained sulfur. Rather then go to him for a refill I simply used this. I haven't had a problem with the last 3 winters....now I do. Now they don't sell it anymore? So I have to spend $110 on a doctor's visit to get another prescription.

After finding all of the reviews for this product getting five stars, I quickly bought it and had high hopes. I only used this product three times, and I'm too afraid to try it again. The first time, my skin felt like it was slightly burning, turned red for maybe half an hour, and went back to it's usual self after a few minutes, so I didn't really think much of it. The second time, my whole face went red, and my cheeks felt hot, plus my skin started peeling on my chin and jawline. The redness stayed significantly longer, maybe an hour or two. Yesterday I used it, and not only did my face get red again, but my eyelids went severely red and burned in pain. I used it in the morning, and by the time I went to bed, my face was still red and my eyelids still hurt. It's now been 24 hours since I've used it the third time, and I woke up to my face being severely tight. I didn't even want to move my mouth, and had to slather on a bunch of aloe lotion to be able to get some relief. My eyes are still red and totally dried out, and they feel heavy when trying to keep them open; they look like they're recovering from a really bad burn. The rest of my face is better than yesterday, but no better than the day before I ever used this product. I would like to add that I've only used this once a day rather than twice like it tells you to, and I haven't been outside in the sun or doing any activities that would dry my face out like this. Before this morning, I thought about only trying the wash instead of using the lotion which seems to be the culprit of drying my skin out really bad, but my skin seems to be so desperately trying to recover itself that I don't want to even try to keep up with anything to do with this kit. I'm not sure how long it's going to take for my skin to totally recover back to what it was before. All I know is that you definitely shouldn't take the risk of spending $25 to have your face become more damaged than it was beforehand.
