This is the best history i've read of Nebraska football. It is of course detailed and exciting about the Devaney-Osborne era, but the real enjoyment comes from the details, pictures and "vault" memorabilia about the great teams of the early twentieth century. The vault memorabilia enclosed in pockets of many pages of the book are a special treat. There are old programs, ticket stubs and other historical relics that make it an archeological dig for Husker fans. Great fun!

My husband loves this book. But it's much more than a book - it also has pockets in it that contain replicas of postcards, ticket stubs, and other loose items from past years of Nebraska Football games. Full of trivia too. I would definitely recommend this for any Nebraska Footbal fanatic.
