This is the best history i've read of Nebraska football. It is of course detailed and exciting about the Devaney-Osborne era, but the real enjoyment comes from the details, pictures and "vault" memorabilia about the great teams of the early twentieth century. The vault memorabilia enclosed in pockets of many pages of the book are a special treat. There are old programs, ticket stubs and other historical relics that make it an archeological dig for Husker fans. Great fun!

My husband loves this book. But it's much more than a book - it also has pockets in it that contain replicas of postcards, ticket stubs, and other loose items from past years of Nebraska Football games. Full of trivia too. I would definitely recommend this for any Nebraska Footbal fanatic.

I bought this book as a gift. I was impressed with the quality, pictures were great and I liked the replicas of the tickets etc. If you like history and are a Husker fan, you will like this book

I bought this book for my dad for Christmas and he LOVED it! He was born and raised in Nebraska, so he is a Husker from birth. What made this book better than others, however, were the "souvenirs" (recreated) of stubs and tickets and such. He also loved how the history was presented and learned things he hadn't heard before. :)

My husband made a terrific collage out of some of the items in the book. I had it matted & framed for him. The book is excellent & fun to read. Worth the price (and it qualified for free shipping). Can't beat it.

I got it for my fiance...the ultimate husker fan. He loved it. He knows almost every stat/player/hometown/tradition etc. and he still loved reading up on stories he never knew before. Great buy, definately recommend it.
