This book has a ton of OU history inside. Like a treasure of info. It is a bit bulky and is more of a coffee table book. If you are looking for something a little bit smaller and easier to carry around that has tons of OU info, check out: UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA FOOTBALL: An Interactive Guide to the World of Sports (Sports By the Numbers) Buy both for any OU fan!

The Sooner Football Vault is for the die-hard fans of the Oklahoma Sooners Football Team and its storied history. I received this book for Christmas and it weighs a ton with its well illustrated slip cover box. The book inside does contain lots of stories, history, facts, figures, scores, records, etc., but not a complete history or fact book as such. It also contains lots of extras including facsimiles of newspaper clippings, programs, postcards, letters, pictures, posters, etc. that can be removed and displayed if one so desired, but I left mine intact. The book is fun to show and look through with lots of color and black and white pictures of past glory days for the Sooners. Kenny Mossman, senior associate athletic director at the University of Oklahoma is the author. He had access to a wealth of information and memorabilia including the assistance of Harold Keith, former sports information director for 40 years at OU who authored a couple of the most well-known books on the history of the Oklahoma Sooners football team and several other sports announcers, authors, etc. as well as former and current players, coaches and staff members. Highly recommended for the Oklahoma Sooner Football fan that thinks they have everything!

Fantastic! I'm a Sooner fan since the Bud Wilkinson era (thought the world had ended that horrible Nov day in '57) Bought one of these before Christmas to see if wanted to give them as Christmas presents. I thought it was great so ordered three for my 2 sons and son-in-law. They loved them but one son got tickled when he opened his . . . he had bought one for me! He just knew I'd love it myself! Since I didn't need two I offered it for sale among my relatives and a couple of them got into a bidding war for my extra one. This has so much stuff in it that I don't think I've ever looked at it all thoroughly. If you're a Sooner fan, especially an OLD fan, or one who would like to know everything you can about OU football this is more than a book. You can browse through the years with copies of everything from photos, to programs, to tickets. Maybe a little awkward (mine keeps sliding out of the holder) but worth the trouble
