Wanting to teach myself some physics in a self-paced, self-study fashion, I purchased this, along with University Physics with Modern Physics: Study Guide Vol.1, and the University Physics with Modern Physics: Student Solutions Manual. So far, so good! It's a pity that the authors and/or publishers think they have to release a new version every couple of years with barely anything new at all - but for those that want to self-study, you can buy the book and all the guides for about 90% off what the new version would cost (if you buy used.) Can't complain!
