This is a fairly comprehensive history of Tennessee football. I would prefer a comprehensive table of historical stats as an appendix to the book. However, this vault was geared more towards telling the stories of Tennessee football. Overall, this is a very interesting book and I highly recommend it for any Tennessee football alum and fan.

This was my Christmas present to my husband, who played for the Volunteers football team during Neyland's final season. He's been having a great time with his gift, although he says it doesn't cover his period of time well, nor did the authors have the score right for one of the games he played in.
It's a beautiful book, full to bursting with history. It's also a great value for the money.

Tom Mattingly's coffee-table book is the most extensive, colorful volume of Big Orange football history I've seen. It covers the entire history of the program from pre-1900 to the hiring of head coach Lane Kiffin. This hefty book recounts all the great moments throughout Vol history, the big games of each coaching era and the most significant players. The fantastic pics and extras bring it all alive, even the most casual fan will love it. The scrapbook-like configuration brings out realistic detail, like you made it yourself!

Extra Bonus: Peyton Manning and Heath Shuler deliver commentary.

This book is very well written and contains replicas of UT memoribilia that would be hard to find anywhere else. I bought one for each of my brothers as Christmas presents and they loved it! It is well worth buying and I would recommend it to any die hard Tennessee fan.

Great gift for a UT lover, but product was over-priced at Amazon. I saw the exact same product for 10.00 less at my local grocery store.

It was a gift and while it was attractive, I hope the recipient enjoys it!
