This is very cute. It comes with a lot of little pieces and accessories, and the house is open on one side, so be aware. This doesn't close up to store the pieces. However, it is just so cute! It has places all over that the Ham-Hams can sit (sideways even). My little girl squealed "Oh this is so cute!" I guess that's what I'm saying. It only came with Hamtaro, but extra Ham-Hams can be bought pretty cheaply at TRU. She got 5 Ham-Hams altogether, and is heading out with her birthday money to buy more Ham-Hams! Did I mention this was cute?

I'm a mom of 3 young boys who love Hamtaro, so I ordered this house to give as a Christmas gift. I would recommend this toy only if your kids are REALLY good at pretend play. The house is very small, comes with only 1 hamster (Hamtaro) and I really didn't feel it was worth the money---I ended up returning mine.

this toy is really cute if you're into pretend play and acting out the show or something. however, this by itself definitely requires some supplementation (the rest of the playsets that are 3.99 plus the two rooms/hideaways). since i've purchased this house, the 8 additional sets, bijou's bedroom, and hamtaro's hideaway, it's very very cute/fun. also, since i'm not a kid anymore, i can actually keep track of the numerous little pieces.
i think this is good for kids that don't lose every little bits and pieces, but aren't too old to enjoy something cute.

I love toys that have little figures! Hamtaro is very very cute. I have a guinea pig and they are like hamsters and they are just adorable! This toy was great. I fell in love with the Plushies and Ham-Hams!... and its on my christmas list this year! With the little rooms and stuff its just the best thing. To me toys like that are quite entertaining and cute to look at so I recomend this item! I havent bought any Hamtaro stuff yet but i sure will. trust me...its great. Even if I am a little too old I can't resist!

My daughter a six year old received this as a christmas gift. She loves it and has added the small play sets that she has to it. She loves the hidden compartments and the wheel and swing. She will play with this for hours at a time. Its fun and leaves room for imaginative play with out being frustrating. It is very well made and just the right size for small children who play everything at floor level.If your child LOVES HAMTARO then they will love this toy.

I bought this for my 5 year old grandson he loves it plays with it for hours, I had understood it only came with one hamster (hamtaro) so i bought extra hamsters separately. It is durable and adorable it packs back up nicely in its own carry all .Couldnt find in stores only on amazon...highly recommened!!!!

This is a great toy! The hamsters are absolutely adorable and it's fun to rearange the furniture and spin them on the wheel. Some reviews mention that your child has to be good at pretend play. What other kind of play is there! Do kids need the toys to entertain them on their own? Hamtaro is great and more hamsters can be collected along with other playsets.

I bought this for my son who loves Hamtaro cartoon. He instantly stops when he hears the music and will not leave his spot until the end. I decided to get some toys for his birthday and this has to be his favorite. He saw a picture on the video that he also received and wanted it so badly. I am pleased I decided to go ahead and take a chance. I first feared that it might be considered a 'girl toy' and his older brothers would pick on him. However, not only did he not get picked on the 8 and 9 year old were both really into it as well. So I highly recommend for the 3-9 crowd. Boys or girls, a hampster is not gender related. My biggest pleasure is watching my child play so nicely with his toy hampster (now he wants a real one....)
I am adding a tiny footnote after having the toy for one month I would of liked more ham hams. It is somewhat misleading when you see the box and advertising they show all the ham hams which my boys are now begging for and I have not seen any. They need to give a option or say they don't make anymore or something. They love it still and have hours of fun. My oldest has moved dinasaurs in to make up the balance (yikes) Don't be mislead it comes with only one hampster. I still rate it a 5 star and I think it is a great toy. I would of been willing to pay extra for more hampsters. If any of you are from Hasbro. Thanks for listening

the funest toys.It's like
a doll house but for hamsters.
And it's a lot funer.It's a great
thing to play with if you have
friends over.

Even though my mom did not want to buy it for me @ 1st, my little sis and I saved enough lunch money to buy it. Anyho' this is the best toy I have ever had. It comes with Hamtaro and some accesories to play with like a swing and a see-saw. I have all of the Ham-Ham toys sets, the house, and both Bijou's and Hamtaro playsets. In other words I only need the plush toys and all of the DVD'S. I love Hamsters and I will not sell those toys in my life time. Hamtaro ROX!!!
