We purchased four of these. All four quit working within 3 weeks. I would not recommend this product.

I needed one of these for my headphones and speakers for my laptop and it works great I recommend it to anyone no problems here.

The splitter would only let you hear music out of the right earphone of a headset. If you read other reviews, many people found this splitter to be defective. I contacted the seller and got my money refunded. Evidently you either get a good one or a bad one, but I needed it now so I just went out and bought another one that has two-2" splitter cords. Not as convenient as the one shown here, but at least it works.

I love how inexpensive this item is. My only issue is it takes a bit of force to snap it in fully, but really, that's not a problem. Thanks!

Price is about right for a great little product to share with your spouse or partner while traveling I bought this so we could watch a movie on a I-pad durning a flight to Las Vegas. Did not affect the sound and both of us didn't have to share 1/2 of an earphone.

I've been wanting a ipod splitter for A LONG time. my dad gave this to me a week ago. i've been using this all the time. My sister likes to watch movies on my itouch with me and it is soooo etc useful for that. I am so glad my dad gave me this!

when i picked up this little item i wasn't looking for right audio and left audio being split into their own line, which is what i appear to have. useless.

Does not work properly, you have to be pushing it against the computer or ipod at all times to get a stereo sound, otherwise you can only hear one side of the sound. It does cost $0.01, but shipping is 3 bucks. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID!

I had to "tune" the thing by rotating it within the jack to get the sound to come out of both headphones. Not ideal, but for the price, hey, what are you gonna do?

Namely, it splits your headphone jacks. Haven't had any durability/reliability problems as of yet.... and in fact, I've been using them to split my computer's and media center's outputs for over a year!

The main issue I find is that its really hard to plug in and out any items into it... so you have to be careful and make sure you plug in your headphones or speakers before you plug the splitter into your device of choice... unless you want to break something!
