If you are pondering purchasing the 40" play ball then ponder no more. This ball is fantastic. I picked one up as a fluke at a garage sale and let me tell you it has been more than worth the three dollars I paid. The ball has lasted for years and provided oodles of fun indoors as well as out. It can hold a lot of weight so adults can play too. Your friends, Your kids, and even you yourself will be drawn to sit upon it...but a warning to those in tight pants....don't rip those seems! Bottom line-the ball is great.

This Bigens ball is bigger than you think. 40" is about three and a half feet. For just being a big ball, it is amazing to me that this ball remains such a constant source of entertainment. Pretty much the first thing I do when I get home from work is stretch out on the ol' Bigens ball. I thought about bringing it to work, but it is too fun to sit in, I'm afraid I wouldn't get any work done. You definitely can't sit still on that ball for very long.

Also, they're great for playing catch. It's a hard one to miss.

This ball is great! It's fun to play on it and some of our babysitters even bounce on it! We bonce all over it and nothing's happend to it yet. I suggest getting this ball.

I recently purchased this ball for my six year old son. He loves it and so do the adults. We have been using it to play Four Square and it's really a lot of fun. However, we are very sad to say that we need to buy a new one. If you have this ball or are thinking of ordering keep in mind that while it is very durable it will not withstand rose bushes or anything else sharp, I'm sure. Nevertheless, we love this toy and will be purchasing a new one. Have fun!!

I have 4 boys and the Bigens balls have been the one toy that ALL of my children use and use and never grow tired of. They have enjoyed it from about age 2 through age 10, but I'm sure it will be enjoyed for years to come. If my kids could only have one toy, I would definitely choose this one! Unfortunately, it's an outdoor toy (they play quite rough with it).

My son is autistic and they have many of these balls at his school.This ball is an earn for him, to get him to communicate, and he chooses to earn it over any other toy they have.It has been a lifesaver for all of us.

This ball is great! It's fun, durable, and I love teaching my brother to ride it!

This ball has been everywhere - has held up to abuse outside. Great for my son who always has to be moving.

This is a must if you've got kids and a fenced in back yard. For the price - you can't beat it! This is our third one - because we leave it outside it really takes a beating from the sun and weather. The kids roll on it, jump on it and toss it around the yard. This is fun as well as great for exercise, developing large motor skills and balance, and learning cooperative play . . . .

I purchased this ball about 8 years ago when my chilren were 8 and 3. They loved to roll it around, bounce it, kick it, it was great exercise for them. I used it with them, not only in the summer, but also in the winter. As they got older they continued to play with it getting more and more creative as they played with it.
Now 8 years later, it's still a BIG hit with their friends. They have really used their immaginations to create different games with it! Of course now being 16 & 11 they are quite a bit stronger and play pretty rough with it. I can't say enough about the durability of it!
I rate the educational value high due to the kids using their creativity and immagination to come up with new ways of playing with the ball.
I don't know of any other toy that has lasted this long, and has kept their interest for so many years. Worth it! ******
