Excellent for gray water diversion
I'm using this to divert the output from my washing machine (with an optional outdoor drain) to water my garden and to keep the water away from my house foundation. It does everything I want, and it took only a few minutes to "install" by attaching a hose and putting it under the drainpipe. I love this product!

We are pleased with the flat back for spacing close to the house. The barrel is the right color and looks good but I think it might be a second as the one side does not line up in the molding. It won't leak but the screen on top does not "snap" into place as the directions say it just lays on top. We would buy another one though as the flat back is so hard to find.

I bought this "barrel" to put against some old stained railroad ties in my yard the barrel looks as old as the ties and really fits in the yard as I hoped it would.

We love our rain barrel! It was easy to "install" and has been simple yet efficient to use. It fills quickly and has been a welcome addition for our landscaping needs.

good design, poor execution,

I like the design of this barrel, but the construction is poor. It is molded in two halves and the halves are misaligned by 3/16" of an inch. The seam is also where you attach linking hoses etcetera, thus the misalignment makes attaching a hose more troblesome. Lastly, it comes with a crappy plastic spigot. I am not overly impressed considering the cost.

This is absolutely unbelieveable. We bought only one and put it by the garage and with one 15 minute rain - the 42 gallon barrel was full and overflowing with water! Love it! Faucet works to hook up the hose and during the next dry period helped save the garden. Very nice looking and blends in nicely with the foilage around it.
