This is part of a fantastic new series by Lego. Together with Knights' Castle (4777)and Knight and Squire (4775) you'll will have four knights for each side and elements enough to build two very good smaller castles or one big one. The quality of the elements and especially the dragon is superb - as usual for Lego.
These are the only toys still on the floor to play with of my 4 year old son's Christmas presents. His 2 year old brother is also part of the game, but most of the time as the evil Destroyer. His 6 year old sister would have liked to see a princess in the set. Afterall knights do kill dragons and do rescue princesses. Cannot wait to get hold of the next set in the series released in 03-2005. "Dad, of course the dragon can't close its mouth when it blows fire - it would be too hot and it would get burned"

I originally bought this for my younger son, who was turning 3. But his older brother, who is 5 years old, loves to play with it too. We also purchased the small knight and squire set as well, so there would be good knights to fight the bad ones. Now both of my boys are playing together and enjoying it! They love the dragon, armor, and trap doors in the tower floors.
I love the overall look of the tower, with the stone work detail on the side pieces, and the turret along the top of the tower. My brother had a LEGO castle many years ago, and since then they have certainly improved on the overall looks, and realism.

This lego set hit the spot with my 2 1/2 year old who was always playing with my 5 year olds Knights Kingdom set but was frustrated because he couldn't really participate in the building. This set has child like blocks but is a full fledged big boy toy with the whole castle/dragon/knights theme. You really can't go wrong. We are looking forward to the other pieces to be released in 2005 also!
