Young caregivers are sure to enjoy this versatile and sturdy baby seat. When the handle is in the upright position, the seat looks like a pintsize version of an infant car seat, five-point harness and all. A cloth rattle attaches to the handle to stimulate baby, and it's easily removed for other imaginative play. Rotate the handle so it rests on the floor, and baby can sit in an upright position. This is a wonderful toy. It's bigger than it looks. My daughter's 19 inch Lee Middleton doll fits in it great. She's getting Baby Born for Christmas but I wanted a seat that was big enough for even her largest doll. I love the fact that it has notches on both sides so it can be strapped into a seatbelt just like a real baby seat.

It is also pretty lightweight, I saw a little girl around the age of two at Toys R Us carrying this by herself with a doll.

This seat is adorable! I bought this one in particular for a 19" Zapf doll, and she fits in it perfectly! (There is a slightly larger version available for baby Chou Chou.) I was so glad to find this, because the only other seat I could find looked just like a real (Graco) car seat and I was so very disappointed when I realized that it did not have the capability of being buckled into the car. (Imagine slamming on your brakes or having a fender-bender and having the seat w/ doll in it flying across the car and possibly hitting someone.) This carrier IS able to be strapped in and my daughter loves that her baby is safe in her seat. This seat can be used in many different positions and can also rock like a cradle. The cute duckies that come with it are precious, too. I can't wait to buy my niece one for Christmas! Worth EVERY penny I spent!

This like all Zapf-Creation items is very well made. The seat can be used like a carseat or to carry the baby doll around in. My daughter has another seat like this made by My Twinn that was a lot more [pricey] and is not as well made.
