I was looking for an outdoor bell to use as a door bell. Most were too expensive and not a good size. This one turned out to be perfect. One suggestion-include three wood screws for the wall plate.

Got this for work to be our 'good news bell'. First time I used it, the rope came off in my hand because it was connected to the ringer with a cheap piece of wire. A little modification and the bell can be rung with rigor. But 2 stars deducted for the embarassment of the first ring...

Pros:
-Exterior finish is well polished and free of scratches, blemishes, etc... -Well packaged for shipment -The rope pull is nicely done Cons: -Weak sound. Partly because it is only a 6" bell, but also due to thickness of material -Included mounting bracket, but no hardware to attach bracket to wall -Hardware used to attach rope pull to clapper, and clapper to bell, is cheaply done Overall, I thought the price was fair for what I received. If you want a small bell that looks good and will only rarely (if ever) be rung then this should work well for you. Ours gets rung on a near daily basis (whenever we close a sale) and I would prefer something with a richer sound, even if cost a bit more.
