This bacon press has lots of little holes that make it a nuisance to clean. I also found that it did not work particularly well at keeping bacon flat during cooking. It's ribbed on the bottom, not smooth, and the bacon curls up between the ribs. I would suggest trying a different brand of bacon press.

This works well with bacon, which is the only way I have used it. It is nicely weighed , easy to handle and appears to be seasoned quite well....no problems with rust. I would get one without the open slots next time because it would probably cook a little faster and clean up would be much easier.

I have used it in my large skillet and on the grill. It has great weight and convenient wooden handle that
keeps you from burning your hand. Would definately recommend.
