If you like the movie, Hellraiser, and always sought after that box used on the movie. Well this is as close as it comes. It was fairly easy to put together the plastic box pieces that were created to match the authentic box. Embellishments were embossed, not just painted on like others I've seen. I wish that it had movable parts but for the price you can't expect everything now can you? Like an antique box with real wood and brass with working puzzle pieces along with cenobites!

I love the box, but is did take a about 20minutes to put together.Really small grooves. Other than putting it together I do recommend it.

You can get wooden & brass musical boxes if you search for them.....still not managed to open mine yet ;-)
But for the price, and if you can't pay $200+ then it's a good version to have

Be careful assembling this piece. It isn't that durable, and it's relatively easy to break if you don't pay attention. Mind the instructions and make sure you don't force the pieces. Also, it's relatively see-through when exposed to bright light.

Comes as six separate pieces that you have to CAREFULLY assemble, but with some patience, it's no problem. Once assembles, it is just a cool thing to have on your desk, shelf, dresser, wherever. you can try superglue. But you risk compromising the quality of the gold paint. It IS a bit see through if held up to the light, so I spray painted the inside of the panels black before assembly.

I recently became a Pinhead fangirl, and this puzzle box is just fun to have around. :) it does take some time to put together, but I highly recommend it to anyone who just want to have there own puzzle box! It's just fun to hold and carry around, and show other Hellraiser fans!

This is a decent alternative to one of the really expensive puzzle boxes. If you looking at it from far away it looks much better then up close. The main problem that I have with it is if you have it displayed anywhere near light the non gold painted parts of the box itself are a transparent brown color that makes it looks cheap.

I believe they could have made this a non transparent black and it would have looked much better. I had no trouble putting the box together, and it has stayed together with no issues, so the construction of the box itself is fine.

I would suggest someone who is buying this to have a spot to display it on a low light level area.

Bought this box because I really like the movies and I always wanted one. Its a decent representation of the movie one. but its not wood so dont think your gonna get an exact replica its more of a just for looks piece. it is just 6 thin semi transparent plastic pieces that snap together. I dont recommend throwing it around as it may break. just put it some where for your viewing enjoyment. would make a great gift for any fan. also the gold layering is raised so you can feel the details when you brush your hand over it. not just some cheap painted on deal.

Its a cool gimmick that represents a big part of the Hellraiser series. I am a fan of the movies and always wanted a replica of the box. I wish it was made stronger or out of better quality materials, especially for the price. Or since it is made out of cheap plastic, make the price even cheaper. There is no way I would have paid the original listed price. Overall, it cool, just could have been mad better or cost could be lower.

I experienced some difficulty putting this box together. I did manage to assemble it, but I still don't quite know how. It looks great displayed with other movie icons I own. Oh yeah, and I did drop bits of superglue around the corners and such, because if it would have come apart, I wouldn't have assembled it again.

But am I happy with the purchase? Now that it is assembled? Totally.
