4.0 out of 5 stars Great Mat
After many, many different bathroom mats, this is it. Super soft, dries very fast! We have it just outside of the shower. We had the sponge mat, but it got kind of gross after a while, so I have been looking for something more durable. I was hesitant to order this mat for a while because of the shipping charge (hello, it's a bathroom mat!) but I finally gave in, and...

Reading the less than perfect reviews will be very helpful for you on purchasing this product. It does not "dry in minutes". I purchased hoping for a super absorbent rug and fast drying to avoid mildew and other possible odor causing science activity. Takes over a day to dry and that's hanging it over my shower door. I'm sad that I purchased two of them after reading the positive reviews here on this website. Should've only bought one and stuck with a $12 thin mat. Not recommending this product!

1.0 out of 5 stars Dries in minutes? How about still wet the next day?, January 19, 2008

The product description says "microfiber dries in minutes" but it took over a day to dry just a few feet away from my baseboard heat, so don't believe everything you read!

3.0 out of 5 stars microfiber bathmat, January 6, 2008
This review is from: Microfiber Absorbing Bathmat
I was under the impression that this mat would be extrememly cushiony - not so. It's very flat and thin. It doesn't dry as quick as I thought it would either. I purchased different microfiber mats from another vendor just to compare (they were much more expensive but no better). So, for the price these were fine except not what I expected.

1.0 out of 5 stars Microfiber bath mat odor, January 7, 2009

I have ordered microfiber bath mats in the past, but the last ones are very hard to keep in the bathroom because of the super offensive odor from the material used in the backing. I have washed them twice, air dried, allowed to air in another room of the house, but they still smell!

1.0 out of 5 stars Sopping wet, April 19, 2009
This review is from: Microfiber Absorbing Bathmat
I have 4 kids and this mat never dries, it's always sopping wet and uncomfortable. The plus is the rubber mat beneath keeps the tiles form getting wet.

This product is not bad, but not amazing either. The rug is very thin, and doesn't seem overly absorbant. However, it does seem absorbant enough for my purposes.

I've already thrown it out. It does not work as great as advertised. It's just a thin bathmat, not very attractive.

1.0 out of 5 stars Awful, it smelled so badly I sent it back., September 23, 2010

I did not use this mat because it smelled like cat urine, simply opening the bag almost kcnocked me to the ground. I did not attempt to wash and use it due to a review I read that stated washing did not eliminate the smell. Looking at the rubber backing, it is clear to see that it won't dry quickly if someone(like my husband) steps on it dripping wet.The design needs to be rethought. I have a microfiber dish drying mat that would work perfectly if it were larger. It does not have a rubber backing, dries quickly and does not smell like cat urine.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Mat, October 10, 2007

This is a good bath mat because it is low profile so you can still open the bathroom door and it dries quickly, which is why I bought it. I was looking for something that would not stay damp all day and would be dry by the time the second person stepped out of the shower. There is nothing worse than stepping on a soaking wet mat from the person before you. It also has nice neutral colors that match most bathrooms. I did not give it 5 stars because I think it could have a little more cushion.
