Sometimes the old works better than the new. For example these shorts. They are cool, comfortable, pretty light, and pretty good looking. There is no modern moisture-wicking technology here; you'll just sweat less. Buy them.

I love these shorts! These are perfect for my needs! I have been searching for a very long time for cotton shorts, that have a stretchy waist or drawstring, and have pockets. These are perfect for when I am cleaning house and doing yard work. In the Texas heat, wearing cotton is very important! I am so happy that I found these and I will be ordering more colors soon! Thank you!

Wide legs and long in the inseam,

If you're a short guy who misses the cotton gym shorts with a 6" inseam of yesteryear, you will be mildly disappointed with the fit of these. They're big, long and loose for anyone 5'6". Also the material is on the light side and waistband is narrow and not well reinforced. I don't expect these to last many years; but then again, they're relatively cheap.
