5.0 out of 5 stars WORTH EVERY PENNY - YEARS OF PLAY, October 22, 2008

We own both this Geometry set and its companion Architecture set and have for over a year loved these blocks! They've become slides and forts and tunnels. Wonderful, open-ended play that started with just toddling and crawling and now is a play "house" ...I have watched 3 kids 1-3 years old be entertained for over an hour. Top that! And the school-quality makes me think I'll have these for years more.

Bought this item brand new, gave as a gift, so the thirty day return policy was past. When my nephews opened there new Christmas present, they had a tear down the seam.
I bought the exact blocks two years ago, and mine also are torn at the seam but atleast they are two years old!

    4.0 out of 5 stars Yes it's expensive, but it's a lot of fun, October 3, 2008

Bought this toy for my son (around Christmas time) when he was about 9 months old. It was great for him at the time and really helped get him up and moving. He's used it every so often ever since, but he's now 18 months old now and has discovered a new appreciation for the toy all over again! His older neices and nephews come over to play, and it's always a hit for them too. You've got to keep the bigger kids (8 year old) off of it though. I'm convinced his weight and rougher play is what has busted many of the seams. It still functions just fine though. FYI, when I bought mine (from Target) around the holidays they were on sale for about $129.00 I think it was. Maybe check back and get it when it's on sale. If you can afford it, the kids will really enjoy it. And we enjoy watching them all play on it!
