Radio Flyer Pedal Car,

There should be more of these pedal cars around. Whenever my four year old son takes this out, adults, and of course more importantly for my sons sake, fellow kids, think this thing is really cool. I wanted a pedal car for my son instead of one of those electric jeep type things you see kids use. I wanted him to use HIS energy. So I did some research and looked at the various models avaliable. Not only does this car cost far less than most of them, it comes with real inflated tires, not those cheaper solid plastic types. Also, it has a free-wheel function, which means on a hill, he can disengage the pedals and simply use them as foot-rests. It is very sturdy, except where you attach the seat to the frame. The supplied screws heads are too small and if you over tighten them, they can pop through the seat, so use a washer.

This is the best one!,

Just watching my 3 1/2 year-old son on this thing brings back all kinds of memories from my own childhood, not just because this toy is about the coolest thing on earth but because its quality and durability speak volumes of a bygone era, one in which things were not just made, but made to last. Radio Flyer blows away the competition, in my opinion, with this one. The real inflatable tires make a world of difference, coupled to a sturdily built steel frame they impart a sense of real solidity that just can't be had in today's world of molded plastic imitations. This is not just a toy to be purchased only to be tossed tomorrow; with reasonable care I have every expectation that my son's son will also be able to enjoy to the fullest this fine Radio Flyer, much as I also loved the "little red wagon" which my own father used in his youth.

Radio Flyer Racer Makes My Child Envy of the Neighborhood,

Great Product!!!Built great! Good company with no hassle operators. Easy to assembly, only took about 30 minutes. This is a generation toy. My kids are the envy on the block. I put it down as educational because it actually creates strong bodies, great gross motor skills and makes your kid learn how to think, pedal and steer. Much better than a electric plastic thing that doesn't do anything for body development. My three year old couldn't initially pedal very far (it is 30 pounds of bike) , but within two weeks was cruising the roads. All the parents and kids want one. Even my 106 lb wife can ride it if she wants to. The clutch allows you to coast downhill and it go go goes! It has a nice hand brake that after a little getting used to works great. I still recommend the kids wear helmets, but the older kids take to it like a duck to water. If you really need a motor other kids can push and jump on the back or a small dog hitch up can easily pull it...

I had intended to purchase this item from an Amazon seller but the transaction didn't go well when I was sent a replacement car without being notified this particular car was discontinued. However, since then we were given one. It is fabulous! It is very durable. It is preowned and is still in excellent condition. The wheels are like true tires that have to be inflated which makes for an easier time pedaling. It is low to the ground and has a hand brake for stopping. It can also be put into neutral so the kids can coast. It is relatively light in weight and can be pushed easily. The seat can be adjusted . My son is 4 and my daughter 6 and we will get many years out of this. This beats out the electric ones because the kids have to do the work themselves which in turn helps their entire bodies develop including their brains! I give this product an A+!!
