4.0 out of 5 stars FUN! But be careful!, June 19, 2001
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:3.0 out of 5 stars

My four yr old loves this! You do have to watch them constantly though because there is not a way to lock it into just a "seesaw" motion. It spins with the slightest attempt of your kid. It will help a child with coordination - just make sure your child is ready! If this toy could be locked stationary, I would give it five stars for everything! It is just a little more advanced than I thought.

This thing took over an hour to assemble. We had to redrill a hole because they weren't alligned and struggle with some other screws to get them through the pipes. It was such a pain to assemble! But now that is is finished......the girls are having a blast. It seems sturdy, but it's only our first day.

5.0 out of 5 stars VERY FUN!!!!!, October 16, 2002

It took my husband 2 hours to put together. Hedstrom doesn't make it easy. The poles were suppose to line up and they didn't. With a little creativity and modification, my husband made it work.
My kids 2 1/2 and 4 year olds absolutely love their teeter twirl. I enjoy watching them play together.

5.0 out of 5 stars Teeter Twirl Heaven, March 18, 2004

This toy, for just under [$$$], has been a great addition. I have two daughters 6 & 4 and they love this. I bring it inside the house, outside the house, to my parents house and the cousins love it too. I don't think I would let anyone over 50 lbs ride it. It works best when each rider is about the same weight & height. I would say that the only thing that would be better is if it was able to hold more than 50 lbs for each rider & a second height adjustment. It is not very high off the ground, maybe 18"-20" and so its best for kids under 7, possibly 8 if they are not very tall. It has kept my children busy, busy, busy on more than one occasion when I am preparing dinner or when it was raining outside. Its not heavy and easily portable. I would buy again, and again. We have only had it since Christmas but I don't see it having any problems now or in the future. Putting it together was not hard at all and took roughly 40 minutes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't Hold Up, February 6, 2003

While the basic plastic parts of this toy are sturdy, the tube like part did not fair well. It is already bending even though the children that use it are not over the weight limit. For a $.. item, I was somewhat disappointed.

My kids are having so much fun with their teeter twirl! If you've put a swing set together this toy is not that hard to assemble. The instructions said you would need another person to help but I got it together myself. They just love it! I like that it can be played on inside as well as outside. Thanks!

5.0 out of 5 stars A YEAR LATER AND IT'S STILL A HIT, June 17, 2004
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars

I purchased the tetter twirl over a year ago and my kids loved it. They are now 4 and 5 and they still spend at least half an hour on it everyday. Of all the toys they have this is one of the few that has stood the test of time. It's light weight, easy to move, and VERY durable. It's in the same shape it was a year ago. My 4 year old son says his favorite part of the toy is being high up in the air, and my 5 year old daughter loves spinning around and around in circles. This toy is truly a must have. Unlike other pricey toys, You and your children will not be disapointed.

We got this toy for our two couch potato girls (ages 2 1/2 and 5) for Christmas. They absolutely love it. We have it set up in the house (just temporarily) while the weather is cold and it's a great way for them to get some exercise and have fun together.

The toy seems very sturdy and well worth the price. We highly recommend it.

I bought the Teeter Twirl for my Grandchildren, two 5 year old girls and a 3 year old boy. The first hour they all fell off it, and I almost decided it too hard for them. The Three year old is small for his age and with one of the girls on the other side he goes very high, so supervision is important. He tried to get off while it was in motion and that could cause bumped heads. This is better if both the kids are the same size, like any see saw. It was very easy to put together, and seems very durable. If you are going to use this in the house be sure to put it on a rug so they kids will be cushioned when they fall.

This toy is a little pricey but I feel it is well worth the money. It took about an hour to put together and we did have trouble with one of the pieces but once we figured it out it was okay. My 3 and almost 5 year old still love playing on it and it's been a whole 2 weeks :-) They've played on it everyday and love the round and round motion the most. When they start twirling fast I do have to watch my 3 year old because he's fallen off a couple times. It seems very durable and it's lightweight and easy to move. Overall this is a great toy.
